KJV ¹ And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

MAR ¹ Et comme ils approchaient de Jérusalem, étant près de Bethphagé, et de Béthanie, vers le mont des oliviers, il envoya deux de ses Disciples,

KJV ² And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.

MAR ² Et il leur dit : allez-vous-en à cette bourgade qui est vis-à-vis de vous ; et en y entrant, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel jamais homme ne s'assit ; détachez-le, et l'amenez.

KJV ³ And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

MAR ³ Et si quelqu'un vous dit : pourquoi faites-vous cela ? dites que le Seigneur en a besoin ; et d'abord il l'enverra ici.

KJV ⁴ And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

MAR ⁴ Ils partirent donc, et trouvèrent l'ânon qui était attaché dehors, auprès de la porte, entre deux chemins, et ils le détachèrent.

KJV ⁵ And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

MAR ⁵ Et quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient là, leur dirent : pourquoi détachez-vous cet ânon ?

KJV ⁶ And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.

MAR ⁶ Et ils leur répondirent comme Jésus avait commandé ; et on les laissa faire.

KJV ⁷ And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

MAR ⁷ Ils amenèrent donc l'ânon à Jésus, et mirent leurs vêtements sur l'ânon, et il s'assit dessus.

KJV ⁸ And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

MAR ⁸ Et plusieurs étendaient leurs vêtements par le chemin, et d'autres coupaient des rameaux des arbres, et les répandaient par le chemin.

KJV ⁹ And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

MAR ⁹ Et ceux qui allaient devant, et ceux qui suivaient, criaient, disant : Hosanna ! Béni soit celui qui vient au Nom du Seigneur !

KJV ¹⁰ Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

MAR ¹⁰ Béni soit le règne de David notre père, [le règne] qui vient au Nom du Seigneur ; Hosanna dans les lieux très-hauts !

KJV ¹¹ And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

MAR ¹¹ Jésus entra ainsi dans Jérusalem, et au Temple, et après avoir regardé de tous côtés, comme il était déjà tard, il sortit pour aller à Béthanie avec les douze.

KJV ¹² And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

MAR ¹² Et le lendemain en revenant de Béthanie, il eut faim.

KJV ¹³ And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

MAR ¹³ Et voyant de loin un figuier qui avait des feuilles, il alla voir s'il y trouverait quelque chose, mais y étant venu, il n'y trouva rien que des feuilles ; car ce n'était pas la saison des figues.

KJV ¹⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

MAR ¹⁴ Et Jésus prenant la parole dit au figuier : que jamais personne ne mange de fruit de toi. Et ses Disciples l'entendirent.

KJV ¹⁵ And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

MAR ¹⁵ Ils vinrent donc à Jérusalem, et quand Jésus fut entré au Temple, il se mit à chasser dehors ceux qui vendaient, et ceux qui achetaient dans le Temple, et il renversa les tables des changeurs, et les sièges de ceux qui vendaient des pigeons.

KJV ¹⁶ And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

MAR ¹⁶ Et il ne permettait point que personne portât aucun vaisseau par le Temple.

KJV ¹⁷ And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

MAR ¹⁷ Et il les enseignait, en leur disant : n'est-il pas écrit ? ma Maison sera appelée une Maison de prière par toutes les nations ; mais vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs.

KJV ¹⁸ And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

MAR ¹⁸ Ce que les Scribes et les principaux Sacrificateurs ayant entendu, ils cherchaient comment ils feraient pour le perdre ; car ils le craignaient, à cause que tout le peuple avait de l'admiration pour sa doctrine.

KJV ¹⁹ And when even was come, he went out of the city.

MAR ¹⁹ Et le soir étant venu il sortit de la ville.

KJV ²⁰ And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

MAR ²⁰ Et le matin comme ils passaient auprès du figuier, ils virent qu'il était devenu sec jusqu'à la racine.

KJV ²¹ And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

MAR ²¹ Et Pierre s'étant souvenu [de ce qui s'était passé], dit à Jésus : Maître, voici, le figuier que tu as maudit, est tout sec.

KJV ²² And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

MAR ²² Et Jésus répondant, leur dit : croyez en Dieu.

KJV ²³ For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

MAR ²³ Car en vérité je vous dis, que quiconque dira à cette montagne : quitte ta place, et te jette dans la mer, et qui ne chancellera point en son coeur, mais croira que ce qu'il dit se fera, tout ce qu'il aura dit lui sera fait.

KJV ²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

MAR ²⁴ C'est pourquoi je vous dis : tout ce que vous demanderez en priant, croyez que vous le recevrez, et il vous sera fait.

KJV ²⁵ And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

MAR ²⁵ Mais quand vous vous présenterez pour faire votre prière, si vous avez quelque chose contre quelqu'un, pardonnez-lui, afin que votre Père qui est aux cieux vous pardonne aussi vos fautes.

KJV ²⁶ But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

MAR ²⁶ Mais si vous ne pardonnez point, votre Père qui est aux cieux ne vous pardonnera point aussi vos fautes.

KJV ²⁷ And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

MAR ²⁷ Ils retournèrent encore à Jérusalem, et comme il marchait dans le Temple, les principaux Sacrificateurs, et les Scribes, et les Anciens vinrent à lui,

KJV ²⁸ And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?

MAR ²⁸ Et lui dirent : par quelle autorité fais-tu ces choses, et qui est celui qui t'a donné cette autorité, pour faire les choses que tu fais ?

KJV ²⁹ And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

MAR ²⁹ Et Jésus répondant leur dit : je vous interrogerai aussi d'une chose, et répondez-moi ; puis je vous dirai par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.

KJV ³⁰ The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

MAR ³⁰ Le Baptême de Jean était-il du ciel, ou des hommes ? répondez-moi.

KJV ³¹ And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

MAR ³¹ Et ils raisonnaient entre eux, disant : si nous disons, du ciel : il nous dira : pourquoi donc ne l'avez-vous point cru ?

KJV ³² But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

MAR ³² Et si nous disons : des hommes, nous avons à craindre le peuple ; car tous croyaient que Jean avait été un vrai Prophète.

KJV ³³ And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

MAR ³³ Alors pour réponse ils dirent à Jésus : nous ne savons. Et Jésus répondant leur dit : Je ne vous dirai point aussi par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.
