KJV ¹² And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

S21 ¹² Les disciples de Jean vinrent prendre son corps et l'ensevelirent. Puis ils allèrent l'annoncer à Jésus.

KJV ¹³ When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

S21 ¹³ A cette nouvelle, Jésus partit de là dans une barque pour se retirer à l'écart dans un endroit désert; l'ayant appris, la foule sortit des villes et le suivit à pied.

KJV ¹⁴ And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

S21 ¹⁴ Quand Jésus sortit de la barque, il vit une grande foule et fut rempli de compassion pour elle, et il guérit les malades.

KJV ¹⁵ And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

S21 ¹⁵ Le soir venu, les disciples s'approchèrent de lui et dirent: «Cet endroit est désert et l'heure est déjà avancée; renvoie la foule, afin qu'elle aille dans les villages pour s'acheter des vivres.»

TR1550 ¹⁵ ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσῆλθον αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ λέγοντες ἕρημός ἐστιν ὁ τόπος καὶ ἡ ὥρα ἤδη παρῆλθεν ἀπόλυσον τοὺς ὄχλους ἵνα ἀπελθόντες εἰς τὰς κώμας ἀγοράσωσιν ἑαυτοῖς βρώματα

KJV ¹⁶ But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

S21 ¹⁶ Jésus leur répondit: «Ils n'ont pas besoin de s'en aller. Donnez-leur vous-mêmes à manger!»

KJV ¹⁹ And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

S21 ¹⁹ Il fit asseoir la foule sur l'herbe, prit les cinq pains et les deux poissons, leva les yeux vers le ciel et prononça la prière de bénédiction. Puis il rompit les pains et les donna aux disciples, qui les distribuèrent à la foule.

KJV ²⁰ And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

S21 ²⁰ Tous mangèrent et furent rassasiés, et l'on emporta douze paniers pleins des morceaux qui restaient.

KJV ²¹ And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

KJV ²² And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

S21 ²² Aussitôt après, Jésus obligea les disciples à monter dans la barque et à le précéder sur l'autre rive pendant qu'il renverrait la foule.

TR1550 ²² καὶ εὐθέως ἠνάγκασεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ ἐμβῆναι εἰς τὸ πλοῖον καὶ προάγειν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ πέραν ἕως οὗ ἀπολύσῃ τοὺς ὄχλους

KJV ²³ And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

S21 ²³ Quand il l'eut renvoyée, il monta sur la montagne pour prier à l'écart et, le soir venu, il était là seul.

KJV ²⁴ But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

S21 ²⁴ La barque se trouvait déjà au milieu du lac, battue par les vagues, car le vent était contraire.

KJV ²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

KJV ²⁶ And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

S21 ²⁶ Quand les disciples le virent marcher sur le lac, ils furent affolés et dirent: «C'est un fantôme!» et, dans leur frayeur, ils poussèrent des cris.

KJV ²⁷ But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

S21 ²⁸ Pierre lui répondit: «Seigneur, si c'est toi, ordonne-moi d'aller vers toi sur l'eau.»

KJV ³⁰ But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

S21 ³⁰ mais, voyant que le vent était fort, il eut peur et, comme il commençait à s'enfoncer, il s'écria: «Seigneur, sauve-moi!»

KJV ³¹ And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

S21 ³¹ Aussitôt Jésus tendit la main, l'empoigna et lui dit: «Homme de peu de foi, pourquoi as-tu douté?»

KJV ³² And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

S21 ³² Ils montèrent dans la barque, et le vent tomba.

KJV ³³ Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

S21 ³³ Ceux qui étaient dans la barque vinrent se prosterner devant Jésus en disant: «Tu es vraiment le Fils de Dieu.»

TR1550 ³³ οἱ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ ἐλθόντες προσεκύνησαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες ἀληθῶς θεοῦ υἱὸς εἶ

KJV ³⁴ And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

S21 ³⁴ Après avoir traversé le lac, ils arrivèrent dans la région de Génésareth.

KJV ³⁵ And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

S21 ³⁵ Les habitants de cet endroit reconnurent Jésus; ils envoyèrent des messagers dans tous les environs et on lui amena tous les malades.

TR1550 ³⁵ καὶ ἐπιγνόντες αὐτὸν οἱ ἄνδρες τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου ἀπέστειλαν εἰς ὅλην τὴν περίχωρον ἐκείνην καὶ προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας

KJV ³⁶ And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

S21 ³⁶ Ils le suppliaient de leur permettre seulement de toucher le bord de son vêtement, et tous ceux qui le touchèrent furent guéris.
