BAN ¹ Et Jésus, étant sorti du temple, s'éloignait, et ses disciples s'approchèrent pour lui montrer les constructions du temple.

KJV ¹ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

BAN ² Mais il leur dit : Ne voyez-vous pas toutes ces choses ? En vérité, je vous dis qu'il ne sera laissé ici pierre sur pierre qui ne soit démolie.

KJV ² And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

BAN ³ Or, comme il était assis sur la montagne des Oliviers, ses disciples s'approchèrent de lui en particulier, disant : Dis-nous quand ces choses arriveront, et quel sera le signe de ton avènement et de la consommation du temps.

KJV ³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

BAN ⁴ Et Jésus répondant, leur dit : Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise ;

KJV ⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

BAN ⁵ car beaucoup viendront en mon nom, disant : C'est moi qui suis le Christ ! Et ils séduiront beaucoup de gens.

KJV ⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

BAN ⁶ Cependant vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres ; prenez garde, ne soyez pas troublés ; car il faut que cela arrive ; mais ce n'est pas encore la fin.

KJV ⁶ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

BAN ⁷ Car nation se lèvera contre nation, et royaume contre royaume ; et il y aura des famines et des tremblements de terre en divers lieux.

KJV ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

BAN ⁸ Mais tout cela sera le commencement des douleurs.

KJV ⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

BAN ⁹ Alors ils vous livreront à la tribulation et ils vous feront mourir ; et vous serez haïs de toutes les nations à cause de mon nom.

KJV ⁹ Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

BAN ¹⁰ Et alors beaucoup seront scandalisés, et ils se livreront les uns les autres, et se haïront les uns les autres

KJV ¹⁰ And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

BAN ¹¹ Et beaucoup de faux prophètes s'élèveront et ils séduiront beaucoup de gens.

KJV ¹¹ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

BAN ¹² Et parce que l'iniquité se sera multipliée, la charité du plus grand nombre se refroidira.

KJV ¹² And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

BAN ¹³ Mais celui qui aura persévéré jusqu'à la fin, celui-là sera sauvé.

KJV ¹³ But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

BAN ¹⁴ Et cet Evangile du royaume sera prêché par toute la terre, pour servir de témoignage à toutes les nations ; et alors viendra la fin.

KJV ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

BAN ¹⁵ Quand donc vous verrez établie en lieu saint l'abomination de la désolation dont il a été parlé par le prophète Daniel (que celui qui le lit y fasse attention),

KJV ¹⁵ When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

BAN ¹⁶ alors, que ceux qui seront dans la Judée s'enfuient dans les montagnes ;

KJV ¹⁶ Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

BAN ¹⁷ que celui qui sera sur le toit ne descende point pour emporter ce qui est dans sa maison ;

KJV ¹⁷ Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

BAN ¹⁸ et que celui qui sera aux champs ne retourne point en arrière pour prendre son manteau.

KJV ¹⁸ Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

BAN ¹⁹ Mais malheur à celles qui seront enceintes et à celles qui allaiteront en ces jours-là !

KJV ¹⁹ And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

BAN ²⁰ Priez pour que votre fuite n'arrive pas en hiver, ni en un jour de sabbat.

KJV ²⁰ But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

BAN ²¹ Car il y aura alors une grande tribulation, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu depuis le commencement du monde jusqu'à maintenant et qu'il n'y en aura jamais.

KJV ²¹ For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

BAN ²² Et si ces jours-là n'avaient pas été abrégés, nulle chair ne serait sauvée ; mais à cause des élus, ces jours seront abrégés.

KJV ²² And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

BAN ²³ Alors, si quelqu'un vous dit : Voici, le Christ est ici, ou : Il est là, ne le croyez point ;

KJV ²³ Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

BAN ²⁴ car de faux Christs et de faux prophètes s'élèveront, et feront de grands signes et des prodiges, au point de séduire, si possible, les élus mêmes.

KJV ²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

BAN ²⁵ Voici, je vous l'ai prédit.

KJV ²⁵ Behold, I have told you before.

BAN ²⁶ Si donc on vous dit : Voici, il est dans le désert, n'y allez pas ; voici il est dans les chambres, ne le croyez pas.

KJV ²⁶ Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

BAN ²⁷ Car, comme l'éclair sort de l'orient et paraît jusqu'à l'occident, ainsi sera l'avènement du fils de l'homme.

KJV ²⁷ For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BAN ²⁸ Où que soit le cadavre, là s'assembleront les aigles.

KJV ²⁸ For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

BAN ²⁹ Et aussitôt après l'affliction de ces jours-là, le soleil s'obscurcira, et la lune ne donnera pas sa lumière, et les étoiles tomberont du ciel, et les puissances des cieux seront ébranlées.

KJV ²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

BAN ³⁰ Et alors le signe du fils de l'homme paraîtra dans le ciel ; et alors toutes les tribus de la terre se lamenteront, et elles verront le fils de l'homme venant sur les nuées du ciel, avec grande puissance et gloire.

KJV ³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

BAN ³¹ Et il enverra ses anges avec un grand son de trompette, et ils rassembleront ses élus des quatre vents, depuis une extrémité des cieux jusqu'à l'autre extrémité.

KJV ³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

BAN ³² Or, que le figuier vous instruise par cette similitude : Dès que ses rameaux sont devenus tendres, et qu'il pousse des feuilles, vous connaissez que l'été est proche.

KJV ³² Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

BAN ³³ De même vous aussi, quand vous verrez toutes ces choses, sachez qu'il est proche, à la porte.

KJV ³³ So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

BAN ³⁴ En vérité, je vous le dis, cette génération ne passera point que toutes ces choses n'arrivent.

KJV ³⁴ Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

BAN ³⁵ Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.

KJV ³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

BAN ³⁶ Or, pour ce qui est de ce jour-là et de l'heure, personne ne le sait, ni les anges des cieux, ni le Fils, mais le Père seul.

KJV ³⁶ But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

BAN ³⁷ Mais, comme furent les jours de Noé, ainsi sera l'avènement du fils de l'homme.

KJV ³⁷ But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BAN ³⁸ Car, comme dans les jours avant le déluge, ils mangeaient et buvaient, se mariaient et donnaient en mariage, jusqu'au jour où Noé entra dans l'arche,

KJV ³⁸ For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

BAN ³⁹ et qu'ils ne comprirent point, jusqu'à ce que le déluge vint et les emporta tous ; tel sera aussi l'avènement du fils de l'homme.

KJV ³⁹ And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BAN ⁴⁰ Alors, deux hommes seront aux champs : l'un est pris, et l'autre laissé,

KJV ⁴⁰ Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

BAN ⁴¹ Deux femmes moudront à la meule : l'une est prise, et l'autre laissée.

KJV ⁴¹ Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

BAN ⁴² Veillez donc, parce que vous ne savez pas quel jour votre Seigneur vient.

KJV ⁴² Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

BAN ⁴³ Or sachez ceci : Si le maître de la maison savait à quelle veille de la nuit le voleur vient, il aurait veillé et n'aurait pas laissé percer sa maison.

KJV ⁴³ But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

BAN ⁴⁴ C'est pourquoi vous aussi tenez-vous prêts ; car le fils de l'homme vient à l'heure que vous ne pensez pas.

KJV ⁴⁴ Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

BAN ⁴⁵ Quel est donc le serviteur fidèle et prudent que son maître a établi sur ses domestiques, pour leur donner la nourriture au temps convenable ?

KJV ⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

BAN ⁴⁶ Heureux ce serviteur que son maître, à son arrivée, trouvera faisant ainsi !

KJV ⁴⁶ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

BAN ⁴⁷ En vérité, je vous dis qu'il l'établira sur tous ses biens.

KJV ⁴⁷ Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

BAN ⁴⁸ Mais si ce méchant serviteur dit en son coeur : Mon maître tarde,

KJV ⁴⁸ But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

BAN ⁴⁹ et qu'il se mette à battre ses compagnons de service, et qu'il mange et boive avec les ivrognes,

KJV ⁴⁹ And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

BAN ⁵⁰ le maître de ce serviteur-là viendra au jour qu'il ne s'y attend pas, et à l'heure qu'il ne sait pas,

KJV ⁵⁰ The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

BAN ⁵¹ et il le mettra en pièces et lui donnera sa part avec les hypocrites ; c'est là qu'il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents.

KJV ⁵¹ And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
