BCC ¹ Comme Jésus, sorti du temple s'en allait, ses disciples s'approchèrent pour lui faire remarquer les constructions du temple.

KJV ¹ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

BCC ² Prenant la parole, il leur dit : "vous voyez tout cela, n'est-ce pas ? Je vous le dis en vérité, il n'y sera pas laissé pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée.

KJV ² And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

BCC ³ Lorsqu'il se fut assis sur la montagne des Oliviers, ses disciples s'approchèrent de lui, à part, et dirent : "dites-nous quand ces choses arriveront, et quel sera le signe de votre avènement et de la fin du monde ?"

KJV ³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

BCC ⁴ Jésus leur répondit : "prenez garde que nul ne vous induise en erreur.

KJV ⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

BCC ⁵ Car beaucoup viendront sous mon nom, disant : " C'est moi qui suis le Christ, et ils en induiront un grand nombre en erreur.

KJV ⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

BCC ⁶ Vous aurez à entendre parler de guerres et de bruits de guerre : voyez ! n'en soyez pas troublés, car il faut que tout arrive ; mais ce n'est pas encore la fin.

KJV ⁶ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

BCC ⁷ En effet on se dressera nation contre nation, royaume contre royaume, et il y aura des pestes, des famines et des tremblements de terre par endroits :

KJV ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

BCC ⁸ tout cela est le commencement des douleurs.

KJV ⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

BCC ⁹ Alors on vous livrera à la torture et on vous fera mourir, et vous serez en haine à toutes les nations, à cause de mon nom.

KJV ⁹ Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

BCC ¹⁰ Alors aussi beaucoup failliront ; ils se trahiront les uns les autres et se haïront les uns les autres.

KJV ¹⁰ And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

BCC ¹¹ Et il s'élèvera plusieurs faux prophètes qui en induiront un grand nombre en erreur.

KJV ¹¹ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

BCC ¹² Et à cause des progrès croissants de l'iniquité, la charité d'un grand nombre se refroidira.

KJV ¹² And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

BCC ¹³ Mais qui persévérera jusqu'à la fin sera sauvé.

KJV ¹³ But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

BCC ¹⁴ Et cet évangile du royaume sera proclamé dans le monde entier, en témoignage pour toutes les nations ; et alors viendra la fin.

KJV ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

BCC ¹⁵ Quand donc vous verrez l'abomination de la désolation, dont a parlé le prophète Daniel, dressée en un lieu saint, ‒ que celui qui lit comprenne ! ‒

KJV ¹⁵ When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

BCC ¹⁶ alors, que ceux (qui seront) dans la Judée s'enfuient dans les montagnes ;

KJV ¹⁶ Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

BCC ¹⁷ que celui (qui sera) sur la terrasse ne descende pas prendre ce qu'il y a dans sa maison ;

KJV ¹⁷ Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

BCC ¹⁸ et que celui (qui sera) dans les champs ne revienne pas en arrière pour prendre son manteau.

KJV ¹⁸ Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

BCC ¹⁹ Malheur aux femmes qui seront enceintes et à celles qui allaiteront en ces jours-là !

KJV ¹⁹ And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

BCC ²⁰ Priez pour que votre fuite n'arrive pas en hiver, ni un jour de sabbat ;

KJV ²⁰ But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

BCC ²¹ car il y aura alors une grande tribulation, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu depuis le commencement du monde jusqu'à maintenant, et qu'il n'y en aura plus.

KJV ²¹ For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

BCC ²² Et si ces jours n'avaient été abrégés, nul vivant n'échapperait ; mais, à cause des élus, ces jours seront abrégés.

KJV ²² And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

BCC ²³ Alors, si quelqu'un vous dit : "voici le Christ ici !" Ou "là !" ne le croyez point.

KJV ²³ Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

BCC ²⁴ Car il s'élèvera de faux Christs et de faux prophètes, et ils feront de grands miracles et des prodiges jusqu'à induire en erreur, s'il se pouvait, les élus mêmes.

KJV ²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

BCC ²⁵ Voilà que je vous l'ai prédit.

KJV ²⁵ Behold, I have told you before.

BCC ²⁶ Si donc on vous dit : "voici qu'il est dans le désert ! "ne partez point ; "voici qu'il est dans le cellier !", ne le croyez point.

KJV ²⁶ Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

BCC ²⁷ Car, comme l'éclair part de l'orient et apparaît jusqu'à l'occident, ainsi sera l'avènement du Fils de l'homme.

KJV ²⁷ For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BCC ²⁸ Où que soit le cadavre, là se rassembleront les aigles.

KJV ²⁸ For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

BCC ²⁹ Aussitôt après la tribulation de ces jours, le soleil s'obscurcira, la lune ne donnera pas sa clarté, les astres tomberont du ciel, et les puissances des cieux seront ébranlées.

KJV ²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

BCC ³⁰ Alors apparaîtra dans le ciel le signe du Fils de l'homme, et alors toutes les tribus de la terre se lamenteront, et elles verront le Fils de l'homme venant sur les nuées du ciel avec grande puissance et gloire.

KJV ³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

BCC ³¹ Et il enverra ses anges avec la trompette retentissante, et ils rassembleront ses élus des quatre vents, depuis une extrémité des cieux jusqu'à l'autre.

KJV ³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

BCC ³² Du figuier apprenez cette comparaison : Dès que sa ramure devient tendre et que ses feuilles poussent, vous savez que l'été est proche.

KJV ³² Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

BCC ³³ Ainsi, lorsque vous verrez toutes ces choses, sachez que (l'événement) est proche, aux portes.

KJV ³³ So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

BCC ³⁴ Je vous le dis en vérité, cette génération ne passera point que toutes ces choses ne soient arrivées.

KJV ³⁴ Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

BCC ³⁵ Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.

KJV ³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

BCC ³⁶ Quand à ce jour et à l'heure, nul ne les connaît, pas même les anges des cieux, mais le Père seul.

KJV ³⁶ But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

BCC ³⁷ Tels furent les jours de Noé, tel sera l'avènement du Fils de l'homme.

KJV ³⁷ But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BCC ³⁸ Car de même que dans les jours qui précédèrent le déluge, on mangeait et on buvait, on épousait et on était épousé, jusqu'au jour où Noé entra dans l'arche,

KJV ³⁸ For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

BCC ³⁹ et qu'ils ne surent rien, jusqu'à la venue du déluge qui les emporta tous, ainsi sera aussi l'avènement du Fils de l'homme.

KJV ³⁹ And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

BCC ⁴⁰ Alors, de deux (hommes) qui seront dans un champ, l'un sera pris, l'autre laissé ;

KJV ⁴⁰ Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

BCC ⁴¹ de deux femmes qui seront à moudre à la meule, l'une sera prise, l'autre laissée.

KJV ⁴¹ Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

BCC ⁴² Veillez donc, puisque vous ne savez pas quel jour votre Seigneur doit venir.

KJV ⁴² Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

BCC ⁴³ Sachez-le bien, si le maître de maison savait à quelle veille le voleur doit venir, il veillerait et ne laisserait pas percer sa maison.

KJV ⁴³ But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

BCC ⁴⁴ Tenez-vous donc prêts, vous aussi, car c'est à l'heure que vous ne pensez pas que le Fils de l'homme viendra.

KJV ⁴⁴ Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

BCC ⁴⁵ Quelqu'un donc est-il le serviteur fidèle et prudent que le maître a établi sur les gens de sa maison pour leur donner la nourriture au temps (voulu),

KJV ⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

BCC ⁴⁶ heureux ce serviteur que son maître, à son arrivée, trouvera agissant ainsi !

KJV ⁴⁶ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

BCC ⁴⁷ En vérité, je vous le dis, il l'établira sur tous ses biens.

KJV ⁴⁷ Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

BCC ⁴⁸ Mais si c'est un méchant serviteur qui se dise en lui-même : "mon maître tarde,"

KJV ⁴⁸ But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

BCC ⁴⁹ et qu'il se mette à battre ses compagnons de service, qu'il mange et boive avec les ivrognes,

KJV ⁴⁹ And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

BCC ⁵⁰ le maître de ce serviteur viendra au jour où il ne s'y attend pas, et à l'heure qu'il ne sait pas,

KJV ⁵⁰ The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

BCC ⁵¹ et il le fendra en deux, et lui assignera pour lot celui des hypocrites : là il y aura les pleurs et le grincement des dents.

KJV ⁵¹ And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
