KJV ⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

OST ⁷ Demandez, et on vous donnera; cherchez, et vous trouverez; heurtez, et on vous ouvrira.

KJV ⁸ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

OST ⁸ Car quiconque demande, reçoit; et qui cherche, trouve; et l'on ouvre à celui qui heurte.

KJV ⁹ Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

OST ⁹ Et quel est l'homme d'entre vous qui donne une pierre à son fils, s'il lui demande du pain?

KJV ¹⁰ Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

OST ¹⁰ Et s'il demande du poisson, lui donnera-t-il un serpent?

KJV ¹¹ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

OST ¹¹ Si donc vous, qui êtes mauvais, savez donner à vos enfants de bonnes choses, combien plus votre Père qui est dans les cieux en donnera-t-il de bonnes à ceux qui les lui demandent!
