BAN ³⁷ Et à la porte de la Source ils montèrent droit devant eux les degrés de la cité de David, par la montée de la muraille, au-dessus de la maison de David, et jusqu'à la porte des Eaux, à l'orient.

WLC ³⁷ וְעַל֩ שַׁ֨עַר הָעַ֜יִן וְנֶגְדָּ֗ם עָלוּ֙ עַֽל־ מַעֲלוֹת֙ עִ֣יר דָּוִ֔יד בַּֽמַּעֲלֶ֖ה לַחוֹמָ֑ה מֵעַל֙ לְבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔יד וְעַ֛ד שַׁ֥עַר הַמַּ֖יִם מִזְרָֽח׃

BAN ³⁸ Et le second choeur marcha du côté opposé, et je le suivais, moi et la moitié du peuple, sur la muraille, au-dessus de la tour des Fours, jusqu'à la muraille large,

KJV ³⁸ And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;

LSG ³⁸ Le second choeur se mit en marche à l'opposite. J'étais derrière lui avec l'autre moitié du peuple, sur la muraille. Passant au-dessus de la tour des fours, on alla jusqu'à la muraille large ;

WLC ³⁸ וְהַתּוֹדָ֧ה הַשֵּׁנִ֛ית הַהוֹלֶ֥כֶת לְמ֖וֹאל וַאֲנִ֣י אַחֲרֶ֑יהָ וַחֲצִ֨י הָעָ֜ם מֵעַ֣ל לְהַחוֹמָ֗ה מֵעַל֙ לְמִגְדַּ֣ל הַתַּנּוּרִ֔ים וְעַ֖ד הַחוֹמָ֥ה הָרְחָבָֽה׃

BAN ³⁹ et au-dessus de la porte d'Ephraïm, et de la porte de la vieille [ville], et de la porte des Poissons, et de la tour de Hananéel, et de la tour de Méa, et jusqu'à la porte des Brebis, et l'on s'arrêta vers la porte de la Prison.

KJV ³⁹ And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

LSG ³⁹ puis au-dessus de la porte d'Éphraïm, de la vieille porte, de la porte des poissons, de la tour de Hananeel et de la tour de Méa, jusqu'à la porte des brebis. Et l'on s'arrêta à la porte de la prison.

WLC ³⁹ וּמֵעַ֣ל לְשַֽׁעַר־ אֶ֠פְרַיִם וְעַל־ שַׁ֨עַר הַיְשָׁנָ֜ה וְעַל־ שַׁ֣עַר הַדָּגִ֗ים וּמִגְדַּ֤ל חֲנַנְאֵל֙ וּמִגְדַּ֣ל הַמֵּאָ֔ה וְעַ֖ד שַׁ֣עַר הַצֹּ֑אן וְעָ֣מְד֔וּ בְּשַׁ֖עַר הַמַּטָּרָֽה׃

BAN ⁴⁰ Et les deux choeurs s'arrêtèrent dans la maison de Dieu, ainsi que moi et la moitié des magistrats, qui m'accompagnait.

KJV ⁴⁰ So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

BAN ⁴¹ Et les sacrificateurs Eliakim, Maaséia, Minjamin, Micaïa, Eljoénaï, Zacharie, Hanania, avec des trompettes ;

WLC ⁴¹ וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים אֶלְיָקִ֡ים מַעֲשֵׂיָ֡ה מִ֠נְיָמִין מִיכָיָ֧ה אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֛י זְכַרְיָ֥ה חֲנַנְיָ֖ה בַּחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃

BAN ⁴² et Maaséia et Sémaîa et Eléazar et Uzzi et Johanan et Malkija et Elam et Ezer, les chantres, firent entendre [leur voix] sous la direction de Jizrachia.

KJV ⁴² And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

LSG ⁴² et Maaséja, Schemaeja, Éléazar, Uzzi, Jochanan, Malkija, Élam et Ézer. Les chantres se firent entendre, dirigés par Jizrachja.

WLC ⁴² וּמַעֲשֵׂיָ֨ה וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֜ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֧ר וְעֻזִּ֛י וִֽיהוֹחָנָ֥ן וּמַלְכִּיָּ֖ה וְעֵילָ֣ם וָעָ֑זֶר וַיַּשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים וְיִֽזְרַחְיָ֖ה הַפָּקִֽיד׃

BAN ⁴³ Et l'on sacrifia dans ce jour de grands sacrifices, et l'on se réjouit, car Dieu les avait réjouis d'une grande joie ; et même les femmes et les enfants se réjouirent, et la joie de Jérusalem fut entendue au loin.

KJV ⁴³ Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

LSG ⁴³ On offrit ce jour-là de nombreux sacrifices, et on se livra aux réjouissances, car Dieu avait donné au peuple un grand sujet de joie. Les femmes et les enfants se réjouirent aussi, et les cris de joie de Jérusalem furent entendus au loin.

BAN ⁴⁴ Et dans ce temps des hommes furent préposés sur les chambres où l'on déposait les trésors, les offrandes, les prémices et les dîmes, et on les chargea d'y recueillir, du territoire des villes, les portions assignées par la loi aux sacrificateurs et aux Lévites, car Juda se réjouissait de ce que les sacrificateurs et les Lévites étaient à leurs postes ;

KJV ⁴⁴ And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

LSG ⁴⁴ En ce jour, on établit des hommes ayant la surveillance des chambres qui servaient de magasins pour les offrandes, les prémices et les dîmes, et on les chargea d'y recueillir du territoire des villes les portions assignées par la loi aux sacrificateurs et aux Lévites. Car Juda se réjouissait de ce que les sacrificateurs et les Lévites étaient à leur poste,

WLC ⁴⁴ וַיִּפָּקְד֣וּ בַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא אֲנָשִׁ֜ים עַל־ הַנְּשָׁכ֗וֹת לָא֨וֹצָר֥וֹת לַתְּרוּמוֹת֮ לָרֵאשִׁ֣ית וְלַמַּֽעַשְׂרוֹת֒ לִכְנ֨וֹס בָּהֶ֜ם לִשְׂדֵ֤י הֶעָרִים֙ מְנָא֣וֹת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם כִּ֚י שִׂמְחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה עַל־ הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְעַל־ הַלְוִיִּ֖ם הָעֹמְדִֽים׃

BAN ⁴⁵ et ceux-ci gardaient les observances de leur Dieu et les observances de la purification, ainsi que les chantres et les portiers, selon l'ordonnance de David [et] de Salomon, son fils ;

KJV ⁴⁵ And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

LSG ⁴⁵ observant tout ce qui concernait le service de Dieu et des purifications. Les chantres et les portiers remplissaient aussi leurs fonctions, selon l'ordre de David et de Salomon, son fils ;

WLC ⁴⁵ וַֽיִּשְׁמְר֞וּ מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶם֙ וּמִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַֽטָּהֳרָ֔ה וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים כְּמִצְוַ֥ת דָּוִ֖יד שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

BAN ⁴⁶ car aux jours de David et d'Asaph, dès l'origine, il y avait un chef pour les chantres, et des chants de louange et d'actions de grâces à Dieu.

KJV ⁴⁶ For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

LSG ⁴⁶ car autrefois, du temps de David et d'Asaph, il y avait des chefs de chantres et des chants de louanges et d'actions de grâces en l'honneur de Dieu.

WLC ⁴⁶ כִּֽי־ בִימֵ֥י דָוִ֛יד וְאָסָ֖ף מִקֶּ֑דֶם הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים וְשִׁיר־ תְּהִלָּ֥ה וְהֹד֖וֹת לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

BAN ⁴⁷ Et aux jours de Zorobabel et aux jours de Néhémie, tout Israël donnait aux chantres et aux portiers leurs portions de chaque jour, et aux Lévites leurs parts consacrées, et les Lévites les donnaient aux fils d'Aaron.

KJV ⁴⁷ And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

LSG ⁴⁷ Tout Israël, au temps de Zorobabel et de Néhémie, donna les portions des chantres et des portiers, jour par jour ; on donna aux Lévites les choses consacrées, et les Lévites donnèrent aux fils d'Aaron les choses consacrées.

WLC ⁴⁷ וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֩ בִּימֵ֨י זְרֻבָּבֶ֜ל וּבִימֵ֣י נְחֶמְיָ֗ה נֹֽתְנִ֛ים מְנָי֛וֹת הַמְשֹׁרְרִ֥ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֖ים דְּבַר־ י֣וֹם בְּיוֹמ֑וֹ וּמַקְדִּשִׁים֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם מַקְדִּשִׁ֖ים לִבְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹֽן׃
