BAN ¹ Et l'Eternel me dit. Va encore aimer une femme aimée d'un amant et adultère, comme l'Eternel aime les fils d'Israël, tandis qu'eux se tournent vers d'autres dieux et aiment les gâteaux de raisins.

KJV ¹ Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

WLC ¹ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י ע֚וֹד לֵ֣ךְ אֱ‍ֽהַב־ אִשָּׁ֔ה אֲהֻ֥בַת רֵ֖עַ וּמְנָאָ֑פֶת כְּאַהֲבַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֶת־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהֵ֗ם פֹּנִים֙ אֶל־ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְאֹהֲבֵ֖י אֲשִׁישֵׁ֥י עֲנָבִֽים׃

BAN ² Et je l'achetai pour quinze sicles d'argent, un homer d'orge et un létec d'orge.

KJV ² So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

WLC ² וָאֶכְּרֶ֣הָ לִּ֔י בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר כָּ֑סֶף וְחֹ֥מֶר שְׂעֹרִ֖ים וְלֵ֥תֶךְ שְׂעֹרִֽים׃

BAN ³ Et je lui dis : Tu me demeureras là pendant de longs jours, tu ne te prostitueras point, et tu ne seras à aucun homme, et moi, je ferai de même pour toi.

KJV ³ And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

WLC ³ וָאֹמַ֣ר אֵלֶ֗יהָ יָמִ֤ים רַבִּים֙ תֵּ֣שְׁבִי לִ֔י לֹ֣א תִזְנִ֔י וְלֹ֥א תִֽהְיִ֖י לְאִ֑ישׁ וְגַם־ אֲנִ֖י אֵלָֽיִךְ׃

BAN ⁴ Car pendant de longs jours les fils d'Israël demeureront sans roi et sans chef, sans sacrifice et sans statue, sans éphod ni théraphim.

KJV ⁴ For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:

WLC ⁴ כִּ֣י ׀ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֥ין מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ וְאֵ֣ין שָׂ֔ר וְאֵ֥ין זֶ֖בַח וְאֵ֣ין מַצֵּבָ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין אֵפ֖וֹד וּתְרָפִֽים׃

BAN ⁵ Puis les fils d'Israël se convertiront et se remettront à chercher l'Eternel leur Dieu et David leur roi ; tremblants, ils se retireront vers l'Eternel et vers sa bonté, à la fin des temps.

KJV ⁵ Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

WLC ⁵ אַחַ֗ר יָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּבִקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת דָּוִ֣ד מַלְכָּ֑ם וּפָחֲד֧וּ אֶל־ יְהוָ֛ה וְאֶל־ טוּב֖וֹ בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃
