KJV 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

VULC 1 [Beatus vir qui non abiit in consilio impiorum,
et in via peccatorum non stetit,
et in cathedra pestilentiæ non sedit ;

KJV 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

VULC 2 sed in lege Domini voluntas ejus,
et in lege ejus meditabitur die ac nocte.

KJV 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

VULC 3 Et erit tamquam lignum quod plantatum est secus decursus aquarum,
quod fructum suum dabit in tempore suo :
et folium ejus non defluet ;
et omnia quæcumque faciet prosperabuntur.

KJV 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

VULC 4 Non sic impii, non sic ;
sed tamquam pulvis quem projicit ventus a facie terræ.

KJV 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

VULC 5 Ideo non resurgent impii in judicio,
neque peccatores in concilio justorum :

KJV 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

VULC 6 quoniam novit Dominus viam justorum,
et iter impiorum peribit.]
