KJV 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

VULC 1 Alleluja. [Confitemini Domino, et invocate nomen ejus ;
annuntiate inter gentes opera ejus.

WLC 1 בָּרֲכִ֥י נַפְשִׁ֗י אֶת־ יְה֫וָ֥ה יְהוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהַי גָּדַ֣לְתָּ מְּאֹ֑ד ה֭וֹד וְהָדָ֣ר לָבָֽשְׁתָּ׃

KJV 2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

VULC 2 Cantate ei, et psallite ei ;
narrate omnia mirabilia ejus.

WLC 2 עֹֽטֶה־ א֭וֹר כַּשַּׂלְמָ֑ה נוֹטֶ֥ה שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם כַּיְרִיעָֽה׃

KJV 3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

VULC 3 Laudamini in nomine sancto ejus ;
lætetur cor quærentium Dominum.

WLC 3 הַ֥מְקָרֶֽה בַמַּ֗יִם עֲ‍ֽלִיּ֫וֹתָ֥יו הַשָּׂם־ עָבִ֥ים רְכוּב֑וֹ הַֽ֝מְהַלֵּ֗ךְ עַל־ כַּנְפֵי־ רֽוּחַ׃

KJV 4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

VULC 4 Quærite Dominum, et confirmamini ;
quærite faciem ejus semper.

WLC 4 עֹשֶׂ֣ה מַלְאָכָ֣יו רוּח֑וֹת מְ֝שָׁרְתָ֗יו אֵ֣שׁ לֹהֵֽט׃

KJV 5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

prodigia ejus, et judicia oris ejus :

WLC 5 יָֽסַד־ אֶ֭רֶץ עַל־ מְכוֹנֶ֑יהָ בַּל־ תִּ֝מּ֗וֹט עוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃

KJV 6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

VULC 6 semen Abraham servi ejus ;
filii Jacob electi ejus.

WLC 6 תְּ֭הוֹם כַּלְּב֣וּשׁ כִּסִּית֑וֹ עַל־ הָ֝רִ֗ים יַֽעַמְדוּ־ מָֽיִם׃

KJV 7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

VULC 7 Ipse Dominus Deus noster ;
in universa terra judicia ejus.

WLC 7 מִן־ גַּעֲרָ֣תְךָ֣ יְנוּס֑וּן מִן־ ק֥וֹל רַֽ֝עַמְךָ֗ יֵחָפֵזֽוּן׃

KJV 8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

VULC 8 Memor fuit in sæculum testamenti sui ;
verbi quod mandavit in mille generationes :

WLC 8 יַעֲל֣וּ הָ֭רִים יֵרְד֣וּ בְקָע֑וֹת אֶל־ מְ֝ק֗וֹם זֶ֤ה ׀ יָסַ֬דְתָּ לָהֶֽם׃

KJV 9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

VULC 9 quod disposuit ad Abraham,
et juramenti sui ad Isaac :

WLC 9 גְּֽבוּל־ שַׂ֭מְתָּ בַּל־ יַֽעֲבֹר֑וּן בַּל־ יְ֝שׁוּב֗וּן לְכַסּ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

VULC 10 et statuit illud Jacob in præceptum,
et Israël in testamentum æternum,

WLC 10 הַֽמְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ מַ֭עְיָנִים בַּנְּחָלִ֑ים בֵּ֥ין הָ֝רִ֗ים יְהַלֵּכֽוּן׃

KJV 11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

VULC 11 dicens : Tibi dabo terram Chanaan,
funiculum hæreditatis vestræ :

WLC 11 יַ֭שְׁקוּ כָּל־ חַיְת֣וֹ שָׂדָ֑י יִשְׁבְּר֖וּ פְרָאִ֣ים צְמָאָֽם׃

KJV 12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

VULC 12 cum essent numero brevi,
paucissimi, et incolæ ejus.

WLC 12 עֲ֭לֵיהֶם עוֹף־ הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם יִשְׁכּ֑וֹן מִבֵּ֥ין עֳ֝פָאיִ֗ם יִתְּנוּ־ קֽוֹל׃

KJV 13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

VULC 13 Et pertransierunt de gente in gentem,
et de regno ad populum alterum.

WLC 13 מַשְׁקֶ֣ה הָ֭רִים מֵעֲלִיּוֹתָ֑יו מִפְּרִ֥י מַ֝עֲשֶׂ֗יךָ תִּשְׂבַּ֥ע הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

VULC 14 Non reliquit hominem nocere eis :
et corripuit pro eis reges.

WLC 14 מַצְמִ֤יחַ חָצִ֨יר ׀ לַבְּהֵמָ֗ה וְ֭עֵשֶׂב לַעֲבֹדַ֣ת הָאָדָ֑ם לְה֥וֹצִיא לֶ֝֗חֶם מִן־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

VULC 15 Nolite tangere christos meos,
et in prophetis meis nolite malignari.

WLC 15 וְיַ֤יִן ׀ יְשַׂמַּ֬ח לְֽבַב־ אֱנ֗וֹשׁ לְהַצְהִ֣יל פָּנִ֣ים מִשָּׁ֑מֶן וְ֝לֶ֗חֶם לְֽבַב־ אֱנ֥וֹשׁ יִסְעָֽד׃

KJV 16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

VULC 16 Et vocavit famem super terram,
et omne firmamentum panis contrivit.

WLC 16 יִ֭שְׂבְּעוּ עֲצֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה אַֽרְזֵ֥י לְ֝בָנ֗וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָטָֽע׃

KJV 17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

VULC 17 Misit ante eos virum :
in servum venundatus est, Joseph.

WLC 17 אֲשֶׁר־ שָׁ֭ם צִפֳּרִ֣ים יְקַנֵּ֑נוּ חֲ֝סִידָ֗ה בְּרוֹשִׁ֥ים בֵּיתָֽהּ׃

KJV 18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

VULC 18 Humiliaverunt in compedibus pedes ejus ;
ferrum pertransiit animam ejus :

WLC 18 הָרִ֣ים הַ֭גְּבֹהִים לַיְּעֵלִ֑ים סְ֝לָעִ֗ים מַחְסֶ֥ה לַֽשְׁפַנִּֽים׃

KJV 19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

VULC 19 donec veniret verbum ejus.
Eloquium Domini inflammavit eum.

WLC 19 עָשָׂ֣ה יָ֭רֵחַ לְמוֹעֲדִ֑ים שֶׁ֝֗מֶשׁ יָדַ֥ע מְבוֹאֽוֹ׃

KJV 20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

VULC 20 Misit rex, et solvit eum ;
princeps populorum, et dimisit eum.

WLC 20 תָּֽשֶׁת־ חֹ֭שֶׁךְ וִ֣יהִי לָ֑יְלָה בּֽוֹ־ תִ֝רְמֹ֗שׂ כָּל־ חַיְתוֹ־ יָֽעַר׃

KJV 21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

VULC 21 Constituit eum dominum domus suæ,
et principem omnis possessionis suæ :

WLC 21 הַ֭כְּפִירִים שֹׁאֲגִ֣ים לַטָּ֑רֶף וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ מֵאֵ֣ל אָכְלָֽם׃

KJV 22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

VULC 22 ut erudiret principes ejus sicut semetipsum,
et senes ejus prudentiam doceret.

WLC 22 תִּזְרַ֣ח הַ֭שֶּׁמֶשׁ יֵאָסֵפ֑וּן וְאֶל־ מְ֝עוֹנֹתָ֗ם יִרְבָּצֽוּן׃

KJV 23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

VULC 23 Et intravit Israël in Ægyptum,
et Jacob accola fuit in terra Cham.

WLC 23 יֵצֵ֣א אָדָ֣ם לְפָעֳל֑וֹ וְֽלַעֲבֹ֖דָת֣וֹ עֲדֵי־ עָֽרֶב׃

KJV 24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

VULC 24 Et auxit populum suum vehementer,
et firmavit eum super inimicos ejus.

WLC 24 מָֽה־ רַבּ֬וּ מַעֲשֶׂ֨יךָ ׀ יְֽהוָ֗ה כֻּ֭לָּם בְּחָכְמָ֣ה עָשִׂ֑יתָ מָלְאָ֥ה הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ קִנְיָנֶֽךָ׃

KJV 25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

KJV 27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

WLC 28 תִּתֵּ֣ן לָ֭הֶם יִלְקֹט֑וּן תִּפְתַּ֥ח יָֽ֝דְךָ֗ יִשְׂבְּע֥וּן טֽוֹב׃

KJV 29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

et occidit pisces eorum.

KJV 30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

in penetralibus regum ipsorum.

WLC 30 תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח ר֭וּחֲךָ יִבָּרֵא֑וּן וּ֝תְחַדֵּ֗שׁ פְּנֵ֣י אֲדָמָֽה׃

KJV 31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

VULC 31 Dixit, et venit cœnomyia et ciniphes
in omnibus finibus eorum.

WLC 31 יְהִ֤י כְב֣וֹד יְהוָ֣ה לְעוֹלָ֑ם יִשְׂמַ֖ח יְהוָ֣ה בְּמַעֲשָֽׂיו׃

KJV 32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

KJV 33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

KJV 35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
