KJV ¹ In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

Je me suis retiré vers l'Eternel ; comment [donc] dites-vous à mon âme : Fuis-t'en en votre montagne, oiseau ?

WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד בַּֽיהוָ֨ה ׀ חָסִ֗יתִי אֵ֭יךְ תֹּאמְר֣וּ לְנַפְשִׁ֑י הַרְכֶ֥ם צִפּֽוֹר׃

KJV ² For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

MAR ² En effet, les méchants bandent l'arc, ils ont ajusté leur flèche sur la corde, pour tirer en secret contre ceux qui sont droits de coeur.

WLC ² כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה הָרְשָׁעִ֡ים יִדְרְכ֬וּן קֶ֗שֶׁת כּוֹנְנ֣וּ חִצָּ֣ם עַל־ יֶ֑תֶר לִיר֥וֹת בְּמוֹ־ אֹ֝֗פֶל לְיִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃

KJV ³ If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

MAR ³ Puisque les fondements sont ruinés, que fera le juste ?

WLC ³ כִּ֣י הַ֭שָּׁתוֹת יֵֽהָרֵס֑וּן צַ֝דִּ֗יק מַה־ פָּעָֽל׃

KJV ⁴ The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

MAR ⁴ L'Eternel est au palais de sa Sainteté ; l'Eternel a son Trône aux cieux ; ses yeux contemplent, [et] ses paupières sondent les fils des hommes.

WLC ⁴ יְהוָ֤ה ׀ בְּֽהֵ֘יכַ֤ל קָדְשׁ֗וֹ יְהוָה֮ בַּשָּׁמַ֪יִם כִּ֫סְא֥וֹ עֵינָ֥יו יֶחֱז֑וּ עַפְעַפָּ֥יו יִ֝בְחֲנ֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃

KJV ⁵ The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

MAR ⁵ L'Eternel sonde le juste et le méchant ; et son âme hait celui qui aime la violence.

WLC ⁵ יְהוָה֮ צַדִּ֪יק יִ֫בְחָ֥ן וְ֭רָשָׁע וְאֹהֵ֣ב חָמָ֑ס שָֽׂנְאָ֥ה נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃

KJV ⁶ Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

MAR ⁶ Il fera pleuvoir sur les méchants des filets, du feu, et du souffre ; et un vent de tempête sera la portion de leur breuvage.

WLC ⁶ יַמְטֵ֥ר עַל־ רְשָׁעִ֗ים פַּ֫חִ֥ים אֵ֣שׁ וְ֭גָפְרִית וְר֥וּחַ זִלְעָפ֗וֹת מְנָ֣ת כּוֹסָֽם׃

KJV ⁷ For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

MAR ⁷ Car l'Eternel juste aime la justice, ses yeux contemplent l'homme droit.

WLC ⁷ כִּֽי־ צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה צְדָק֣וֹת אָהֵ֑ב יָ֝שָׁ֗ר יֶחֱז֥וּ פָנֵֽימוֹ׃
