WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־ הַשְּׁמִינִ֗ית מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

KJV ² They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

VULC ² quamdiu ponam consilia in anima mea ;
dolorem in corde meo per diem ?

WLC ² הוֹשִׁ֣יעָה יְ֭הוָה כִּי־ גָמַ֣ר חָסִ֑יד כִּי־ פַ֥סּוּ אֱ֝מוּנִ֗ים מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃

KJV ³ The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

VULC ³ usquequo exaltabitur inimicus meus super me ?

WLC ³ שָׁ֤וְא ׀ יְֽדַבְּרוּ֮ אִ֤ישׁ אֶת־ רֵ֫עֵ֥הוּ שְׂפַ֥ת חֲלָק֑וֹת בְּלֵ֖ב וָלֵ֣ב יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃

KJV ⁴ Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

VULC ⁴ Respice, et exaudi me, Domine Deus meus.
Illumina oculos meos, ne umquam obdormiam in morte ;

WLC ⁴ יַכְרֵ֣ת יְ֭הוָה כָּל־ שִׂפְתֵ֣י חֲלָק֑וֹת לָ֝שׁ֗וֹן מְדַבֶּ֥רֶת גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃

KJV ⁵ For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

VULC ⁵ nequando dicat inimicus meus : Prævalui adversus eum.
Qui tribulant me exsultabunt si motus fuero ;

WLC ⁵ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָֽמְר֨וּ ׀ לִלְשֹׁנֵ֣נוּ נַ֭גְבִּיר שְׂפָתֵ֣ינוּ אִתָּ֑נוּ מִ֖י אָד֣וֹן לָֽנוּ׃

KJV ⁶ The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

VULC ⁶ ego autem in misericordia tua speravi.
Exsultabit cor meum in salutari tuo.
Cantabo Domino qui bona tribuit mihi ;
et psallam nomini Domini altissimi.]

WLC ⁶ מִשֹּׁ֥ד עֲנִיִּים֮ מֵאַנְקַ֪ת אֶבְי֫וֹנִ֥ים עַתָּ֣ה אָ֭קוּם יֹאמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה אָשִׁ֥ית בְּ֝יֵ֗שַׁע יָפִ֥יחַֽ לֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁷ Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

WLC ⁷ אִֽמֲר֣וֹת יְהוָה֮ אֲמָר֪וֹת טְהֹ֫ר֥וֹת כֶּ֣סֶף צָ֭רוּף בַּעֲלִ֣יל לָאָ֑רֶץ מְ֝זֻקָּ֗ק שִׁבְעָתָֽיִם׃

KJV ⁸ The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

WLC ⁸ אַתָּֽה־ יְהוָ֥ה תִּשְׁמְרֵ֑ם תִּצְּרֶ֓נּוּ ׀ מִן־ הַדּ֖וֹר ז֣וּ לְעוֹלָֽם׃

WLC ⁹ סָבִ֗יב רְשָׁעִ֥ים יִתְהַלָּכ֑וּן כְּרֻ֥ם זֻ֝לּ֗וּת לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃
