WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

KJV ² How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

VULC ² Dominus de cælo prospexit super filios hominum,
ut videat si est intelligens, aut requirens Deum.

WLC ² עַד־ אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־ אָ֓נָה ׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־ פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃

KJV ³ Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

VULC ³ Omnes declinaverunt, simul inutiles facti sunt.
Non est qui faciat bonum, non est usque ad unum.
Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum ;
linguis suis dolose agebant.
Venenum aspidum sub labiis eorum,
quorum os maledictione et amaritudine plenum est ;
veloces pedes eorum ad effundendum sanguinem.
Contritio et infelicitas in viis eorum,
et viam pacis non cognoverunt ;
non est timor Dei ante oculos eorum.

WLC ³ עַד־ אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־ אָ֓נָה ׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃

KJV ⁴ Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

VULC ⁴ Nonne cognoscent omnes qui operantur iniquitatem,
qui devorant plebem meam sicut escam panis ?

WLC ⁴ הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־ אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃

KJV ⁵ But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

VULC ⁵ Dominum non invocaverunt ;
illic trepidaverunt timore, ubi non erat timor.

WLC ⁵ פֶּן־ יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכָלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃

KJV ⁶ I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

VULC ⁶ Quoniam Dominus in generatione justa est :
consilium inopis confudistis,
quoniam Dominus spes ejus est.

WLC ⁶ וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַיהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃
