BCC ¹⁰ Ce n'est pas dans la vigueur du cheval qu'il se complaît, ni dans les jambes de l'homme qu'il met son plaisir ;

KJV ¹⁰ He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

BCC ¹¹ Yahweh met son plaisir en ceux qui le craignent, en ceux qui espèrent en sa bonté.

KJV ¹¹ The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

BCC ¹² Jérusalem, célèbre Yahweh ; Sion, loue ton Dieu.

BCC ¹³ Car il affermit les verrous de tes portes, il bénit tes fils au milieu de toi ;

KJV ¹³ For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

BCC ¹⁴ Il assure la paix à tes frontières, il te rassasie de la fleur du froment.

KJV ¹⁴ He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

BCC ¹⁵ Il envoie ses ordres à la terre ; sa parole court avec vitesse.

KJV ¹⁵ He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

BCC ¹⁶ Il fait tomber la neige comme de la laine, il répand le givre comme de la cendre.

KJV ¹⁶ He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

BCC ¹⁷ Il jette ses glaçons par morceaux : qui peut tenir devant ses frimas ?

KJV ¹⁷ He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

BCC ¹⁸ Il envoie sa parole, et il les fond ; Il fait souffler son vent, et les eaux coulent.

KJV ¹⁸ He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

BCC ¹⁹ C'est lui qui a révélé sa parole à Jacob, ses lois et ses ordonnances à Israël.

KJV ¹⁹ He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

BCC ²⁰ Il n'a pas fait de même pour toutes les autres nations ; elles ne connaissent pas ses ordonnances. Alleluia !
