KJV ¹ The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

BCC ² Yahweh, le roi se réjouit de ta force ; comme ton secours le remplit d'allégresse !

KJV ² Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

WLC ² יְֽהוָ֗ה בְּעָזְּךָ֥ יִשְׂמַח־ מֶ֑לֶךְ וּ֝בִישׁ֥וּעָתְךָ֗ מַה־ מְאֹֽד׃

BCC ³ Tu lui as donné ce que son coeur désirait, tu n'as pas refusé ce que demandaient ses lèvres. ‒ Séla.

KJV ³ For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

WLC ³ תַּאֲוַ֣ת לִ֭בּוֹ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ וַאֲרֶ֥שֶׁת שְׂ֝פָתָ֗יו בַּל־ מָנַ֥עְתָּ סֶּֽלָה׃

BCC ⁴ Car tu l'as prévenu de bénédictions exquises, tu as mis sur sa tête une couronne d'or pur.

KJV ⁴ He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

WLC ⁴ כִּֽי־ תְ֭קַדְּמֶנּוּ בִּרְכ֣וֹת ט֑וֹב תָּשִׁ֥ית לְ֝רֹאשׁ֗וֹ עֲטֶ֣רֶת פָּֽז׃

BCC ⁵ Il te demandait la vie, tu la lui as donnée, de longs jours à jamais et à perpétuité.

KJV ⁵ His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

WLC ⁵ חַיִּ֤ים ׀ שָׁאַ֣ל מִ֭מְּךָ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ אֹ֥רֶךְ יָ֝מִ֗ים עוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃

BCC ⁶ Sa gloire est grande, grâce à ton secours ; tu mets sur lui splendeur et magnificence.

KJV ⁶ For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

WLC ⁶ גָּד֣וֹל כְּ֭בוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ ה֥וֹד וְ֝הָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיו׃

BCC ⁷ Tu le rends à jamais un objet de bénédictions ; tu le combles de joie devant ta face.

KJV ⁷ For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

WLC ⁷ כִּֽי־ תְשִׁיתֵ֣הוּ בְרָכ֣וֹת לָעַ֑ד תְּחַדֵּ֥הוּ בְ֝שִׂמְחָ֗ה אֶת־ פָּנֶֽיךָ׃

BCC ⁸ Car le roi se confie en Yahweh, et par la bonté du Très-Haut il ne chancelle point.

KJV ⁸ Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

WLC ⁸ כִּֽי־ הַ֭מֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה וּבְחֶ֥סֶד עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּל־ יִמּֽוֹט׃

BCC ⁹ Ta main, ô roi, atteindra tous tes ennemis, ta droite atteindra ceux qui te haïssent.

KJV ⁹ Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

WLC ⁹ תִּמְצָ֣א יָ֭דְךָ לְכָל־ אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ יְ֝מִֽינְךָ תִּמְצָ֥א שֹׂנְאֶֽיךָ׃

BCC ¹⁰ Tu les rendras comme une fournaise ardente, au jour où tu montreras ta face ; Yahweh les anéantira dans sa colère, et le feu les dévorera.

KJV ¹⁰ Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

WLC ¹⁰ תְּשִׁיתֵ֤מוֹ ׀ כְּתַנּ֥וּר אֵשׁ֮ לְעֵ֪ת פָּ֫נֶ֥יךָ יְ֭הוָה בְּאַפּ֣וֹ יְבַלְּעֵ֑ם וְֽתֹאכְלֵ֥ם אֵֽשׁ׃

BCC ¹¹ Tu feras disparaître de la terre leur postérité, et leur race d'entre les enfants des hommes.

KJV ¹¹ For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

WLC ¹¹ פִּ֭רְיָמוֹ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תְּאַבֵּ֑ד וְ֝זַרְעָ֗ם מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃

BCC ¹² Ils ont préparé pour toi la ruine, ils ont conçu des desseins pervers, mais ils seront impuissants.

KJV ¹² Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

WLC ¹² כִּי־ נָט֣וּ עָלֶ֣יךָ רָעָ֑ה חָֽשְׁב֥וּ מְ֝זִמָּ֗ה בַּל־ יוּכָֽלוּ׃

BCC ¹³ Car tu leur feras tourner le dos ; de tes traits tu les viseras au front.

KJV ¹³ Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

WLC ¹³ כִּ֭י תְּשִׁיתֵ֣מוֹ שֶׁ֑כֶם בְּ֝מֵֽיתָרֶ֗יךָ תְּכוֹנֵ֥ן עַל־ פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃

BCC ¹⁴ Lève-toi, Yahweh, dans ta force ! Nous voulons chanter et célébrer ta puissance.

WLC ¹⁴ ר֣וּמָה יְהוָ֣ה בְּעֻזֶּ֑ךָ נָשִׁ֥ירָה וּֽ֝נְזַמְּרָה גְּבוּרָתֶֽךָ׃
