KJV ² O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

NEG ² Mon Dieu! mon Dieu! pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné,
Et t'éloignes-tu sans me secourir, sans écouter mes plaintes?

WLC ² אֵלִ֣י אֵ֭לִי לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי רָח֥וֹק מִֽ֝ישׁוּעָתִ֗י דִּבְרֵ֥י שַׁאֲגָתִֽי׃

KJV ³ But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

NEG ³ Mon Dieu! je crie le jour, et tu ne réponds pas;
La nuit, et je n'ai point de repos.

WLC ³ אֱ‍ֽלֹהַ֗י אֶקְרָ֣א י֭וֹמָם וְלֹ֣א תַעֲנֶ֑ה וְ֝לַ֗יְלָה וְֽלֹא־ דֽוּמִיָּ֥ה לִֽי׃

KJV ⁴ Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

NEG ⁴ Pourtant tu es le Saint,
Tu sièges au milieu des louanges d'Israël.

WLC ⁴ וְאַתָּ֥ה קָד֑וֹשׁ י֝וֹשֵׁ֗ב תְּהִלּ֥וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ⁵ They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

NEG ⁵ En toi se confiaient nos pères;
Ils se confiaient, et tu les délivrais.

WLC ⁵ בְּ֭ךָ בָּטְח֣וּ אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ בָּ֝טְח֗וּ וַֽתְּפַלְּטֵֽמוֹ׃

KJV ⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

NEG ⁶ Ils criaient à toi, et ils étaient sauvés;
Ils se confiaient en toi, et ils n'étaient point confus.

WLC ⁶ אֵלֶ֣יךָ זָעֲק֣וּ וְנִמְלָ֑טוּ בְּךָ֖ בָטְח֣וּ וְלֹא־ בֽוֹשׁוּ׃

KJV ⁷ All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

NEG ⁷ Et moi, je suis un ver et non un homme,
L'opprobre des hommes et le méprisé du peuple.

WLC ⁷ וְאָנֹכִ֣י תוֹלַ֣עַת וְלֹא־ אִ֑ישׁ חֶרְפַּ֥ת אָ֝דָ֗ם וּבְז֥וּי עָֽם׃

KJV ⁸ He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

NEG ⁸ Tous ceux qui me voient se moquent de moi,
Ils ouvrent la bouche, secouent la tête:

WLC ⁸ כָּל־ רֹ֭אַי יַלְעִ֣גוּ לִ֑י יַפְטִ֥ירוּ בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה יָנִ֥יעוּ רֹֽאשׁ׃

KJV ⁹ But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

NEG ⁹ Recommande-toi à l'Eternel!
L'Eternel le sauvera,
Il le délivrera, puisqu'il l'aime!

WLC ⁹ גֹּ֣ל אֶל־ יְהוָ֣ה יְפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ יַ֝צִּילֵ֗הוּ כִּ֘י חָ֥פֵֽץ בּֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁰ I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

NEG ¹⁰ Oui, tu m'as fait sortir du sein maternel,
Tu m'as mis en sûreté sur les mamelles de ma mère;

WLC ¹⁰ כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה גֹחִ֣י מִבָּ֑טֶן מַ֝בְטִיחִ֗י עַל־ שְׁדֵ֥י אִמִּֽי׃

KJV ¹¹ Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

NEG ¹¹ Dès le sein maternel j'ai été sous ta garde,
Dès le ventre de ma mère tu as été mon Dieu.

WLC ¹¹ עָ֭לֶיךָ הָשְׁלַ֣כְתִּי מֵרָ֑חֶם מִבֶּ֥טֶן אִ֝מִּ֗י אֵ֣לִי אָֽתָּה׃

KJV ¹² Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

NEG ¹² Ne t'éloigne pas de moi quand la détresse est proche,
Quand personne ne vient à mon secours!

WLC ¹² אַל־ תִּרְחַ֣ק מִ֭מֶּנִּי כִּי־ צָרָ֣ה קְרוֹבָ֑ה כִּי־ אֵ֥ין עוֹזֵֽר׃

KJV ¹³ They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

KJV ¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

Semblables au lion qui déchire et rugit.

KJV ¹⁵ My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

NEG ¹⁵ Je suis comme de l'eau qui s'écoule,
Et tous mes os se séparent;
Mon cœur est comme de la cire,
Il se fond dans mes entrailles.

KJV ¹⁶ For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

NEG ¹⁶ Ma force se dessèche comme l'argile,
Et ma langue s'attache à mon palais;
Tu me réduis à la poussière de la mort.

WLC ¹⁶ יָ֘בֵ֤שׁ כַּחֶ֨רֶשׂ ׀ כֹּחִ֗י וּ֭לְשׁוֹנִי מֻדְבָּ֣ק מַלְקוֹחָ֑י וְֽלַעֲפַר־ מָ֥וֶת תִּשְׁפְּתֵֽנִי׃

KJV ¹⁷ I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

NEG ¹⁷ Car des chiens m'environnent,
Une bande de scélérats rôdent autour de moi,
Ils ont percé mes mains et mes pieds.

WLC ¹⁷ כִּ֥י סְבָב֗וּנִי כְּלָ֫בִ֥ים עֲדַ֣ת מְ֭רֵעִים הִקִּיפ֑וּנִי כָּ֝אֲרִ֗י יָדַ֥י וְרַגְלָֽי׃

KJV ¹⁸ They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

Eux, ils observent, ils me regardent;

WLC ¹⁸ אֲסַפֵּ֥ר כָּל־ עַצְמוֹתָ֑י הֵ֥מָּה יַ֝בִּ֗יטוּ יִרְאוּ־ בִֽי׃

KJV ¹⁹ But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

Ils tirent au sort ma tunique.

KJV ²⁰ Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

NEG ²⁰ Et toi, Eternel, ne t'éloigne pas!
Toi qui es ma force, viens en hâte à mon secours!

KJV ²¹ Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

KJV ²⁴ For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

NEG ²⁴ Vous qui craignez l'Eternel, louez-le!
Vous tous, postérité de Jacob, glorifiez-le!
Tremblez devant lui, vous tous, postérité d'Israël!

WLC ²⁴ יִרְאֵ֤י יְהוָ֨ה ׀ הַֽלְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־ זֶ֣רַע יַעֲקֹ֣ב כַּבְּד֑וּהוּ וְג֥וּרוּ מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ כָּל־ זֶ֥רַע יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ²⁵ My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

NEG ²⁵ Car il n'a ni mépris ni dédain pour les peines du misérable,
Et il ne lui cache point sa face;
Mais il l'écoute quand il crie à lui.

WLC ²⁵ כִּ֤י לֹֽא־ בָזָ֨ה וְלֹ֪א שִׁקַּ֡ץ עֱנ֬וּת עָנִ֗י וְלֹא־ הִסְתִּ֣יר פָּנָ֣יו מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וּֽבְשַׁוְּע֖וֹ אֵלָ֣יו שָׁמֵֽעַ׃

KJV ²⁶ The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

NEG ²⁶ Tu seras dans la grande assemblée l'objet de mes louanges;
J'accomplirai mes vœux en présence de ceux qui te craignent.

WLC ²⁶ מֵ֥אִתְּךָ֗ תְֽהִלָּ֫תִ֥י בְּקָהָ֥ל רָ֑ב נְדָרַ֥י אֲ֝שַׁלֵּ֗ם נֶ֣גֶד יְרֵאָֽיו׃

KJV ²⁷ All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

NEG ²⁷ Les malheureux mangeront et se rassasieront,
Ceux qui cherchent l'Eternel le célébreront.
Que votre cœur vive à toujours!

WLC ²⁷ יֹאכְל֬וּ עֲנָוִ֨ים ׀ וְיִשְׂבָּ֗עוּ יְהַֽלְל֣וּ יְ֭הוָה דֹּ֣רְשָׁ֑יו יְחִ֖י לְבַבְכֶ֣ם לָעַֽד׃

KJV ²⁸ For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

NEG ²⁸ Toutes les extrémités de la terre penseront à l'Eternel et se tourneront vers lui;
Toutes les familles des nations se prosterneront devant ta face.

WLC ²⁸ יִזְכְּר֤וּ ׀ וְיָשֻׁ֣בוּ אֶל־ יְ֭הוָה כָּל־ אַפְסֵי־ אָ֑רֶץ וְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לְ֝פָנֶ֗יךָ כָּֽל־ מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת גּוֹיִֽם׃

KJV ²⁹ All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

Il domine sur les nations.

WLC ²⁹ כִּ֣י לַ֭יהוָה הַמְּלוּכָ֑ה וּ֝מֹשֵׁ֗ל בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃

KJV ³⁰ A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

NEG ³⁰ Tous les puissants de la terre mangeront et se prosterneront aussi;
Devant lui s'inclineront tous ceux qui descendent dans la poussière,
Ceux qui ne peuvent conserver leur vie.

WLC ³⁰ אָכְל֬וּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֨וּ ׀ כָּֽל־ דִּשְׁנֵי־ אֶ֗רֶץ לְפָנָ֣יו יִ֭כְרְעוּ כָּל־ יוֹרְדֵ֣י עָפָ֑ר וְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹ לֹ֣א חִיָּֽה׃

KJV ³¹ They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

On parlera du Seigneur à la génération future.

WLC ³¹ זֶ֥רַע יַֽעַבְדֶ֑נּוּ יְסֻפַּ֖ר לַֽאדֹנָ֣י לַדּֽוֹר׃

NEG ³² Quand elle viendra, elle annoncera sa justice,
Elle annoncera son œuvre au peuple nouveau-né.

WLC ³² יָ֭בֹאוּ וְיַגִּ֣ידוּ צִדְקָת֑וֹ לְעַ֥ם נ֝וֹלָ֗ד כִּ֣י עָשָֽׂה׃
