Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.

KJV ³ O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

NEG ³ Que mon âme se glorifie en l'Eternel!
Que les malheureux écoutent et se réjouissent!

KJV ⁴ I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

NEG ⁴ Exaltez avec moi l'Eternel!
Célébrons tous son nom!

KJV ⁵ They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

NEG ⁵ J'ai cherché l'Eternel, et il m'a répondu;
Il m'a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs.

KJV ⁶ This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

NEG ⁶ Quand on tourne vers lui les regards, on est rayonnant de joie,
Et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte.

KJV ⁷ The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

NEG ⁷ Quand un malheureux crie, l'Eternel entend,
Et il le sauve de toutes ses détresses.

KJV ⁸ O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

NEG ⁸ L'ange de l'Eternel campe autour de ceux qui le craignent,
Et il les arrache au danger.

KJV ⁹ O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

NEG ⁹ Sentez et voyez combien l'Eternel est bon!
Heureux l'homme qui cherche en lui son refuge!

KJV ¹⁰ The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

NEG ¹⁰ Craignez l'Eternel, vous ses saints!
Car rien ne manque à ceux qui le craignent.

KJV ¹¹ Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

NEG ¹¹ Les lionceaux éprouvent la disette et la faim,
Mais ceux qui cherchent l'Eternel ne sont privés d'aucun bien.

KJV ¹² What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

NEG ¹² Venez, mes fils, écoutez-moi!
Je vous enseignerai la crainte de l'Eternel.

KJV ¹³ Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

NEG ¹³ Quel est l'homme qui aime la vie,
Qui désire la prolonger pour jouir du bonheur?

KJV ¹⁴ Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

NEG ¹⁴ Préserve ta langue du mal,
Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses;

KJV ¹⁵ The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

NEG ¹⁵ Eloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien;
Recherche et poursuis la paix.

KJV ¹⁶ The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

NEG ¹⁶ Les yeux de l'Eternel sont sur les justes,
Et ses oreilles sont attentives à leurs cris.

KJV ¹⁷ The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

NEG ¹⁷ L'Eternel tourne sa face contre les méchants,
Pour retrancher de la terre leur souvenir.

KJV ¹⁸ The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

NEG ¹⁸ Quand les justes crient, l'Eternel entend,
Et il les délivre de toutes leurs détresses;

KJV ¹⁹ Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

NEG ¹⁹ L'Eternel est près de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé,
Et il sauve ceux qui ont l'esprit dans l'abattement.

KJV ²⁰ He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

NEG ²⁰ Le malheur atteint souvent le juste,
Mais l'Eternel l'en délivre toujours.

KJV ²¹ Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

NEG ²¹ Il garde tous ses os,
Aucun d'eux n'est brisé.

KJV ²² The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

NEG ²² Le malheur tue le méchant,
Et les ennemis du juste sont châtiés.

NEG ²³ L'Eternel délivre l'âme de ses serviteurs,
Et tous ceux qui l'ont pour refuge échappent au châtiment.
