WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

KJV ² The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

MAR ² Ô que bienheureux est celui qui se conduit sagement envers l'affligé ! l'Eternel le délivrera au jour de la calamité.

WLC ² אַ֭שְׁרֵי מַשְׂכִּ֣יל אֶל־ דָּ֑ל בְּי֥וֹם רָ֝עָ֗ה יְֽמַלְּטֵ֥הוּ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ³ The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

MAR ³ L'Eternel le gardera et le préservera en vie ; il sera même rendu heureux en la terre ; ne le livre donc point au gré de ses ennemis.

WLC ³ יְהוָ֤ה ׀ יִשְׁמְרֵ֣הוּ וִֽ֭יחַיֵּהוּ בָּאָ֑רֶץ וְאַֽל־ תִּ֝תְּנֵ֗הוּ בְּנֶ֣פֶשׁ אֹיְבָֽיו׃

KJV ⁴ I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

MAR ⁴ L'Eternel le soutiendra [quand il sera] dans un lit de langueur ; tu transformeras tout son lit, [quand il sera] malade.

WLC ⁴ יְֽהוָ֗ה יִ֭סְעָדֶנּוּ עַל־ עֶ֣רֶשׂ דְּוָ֑י כָּל־ מִ֝שְׁכָּב֗וֹ הָפַ֥כְתָּ בְחָלְיֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁵ Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

MAR ⁵ J'ai dit : Eternel ! aie pitié de moi, guéris mon âme ; quoique j'aie péché contre toi.

WLC ⁵ אֲ‍ֽנִי־ אָ֭מַרְתִּי יְהוָ֣ה חָנֵּ֑נִי רְפָאָ֥ה נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י כִּי־ חָטָ֥אתִי לָֽךְ׃

KJV ⁶ And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

MAR ⁶ Mes ennemis [me souhaitant] du mal, disent : Quand mourra-t-il ? et quand périra son nom ?

WLC ⁶ אוֹיְבַ֗י יֹאמְר֣וּ רַ֣ע לִ֑י מָתַ֥י יָ֝מ֗וּת וְאָבַ֥ד שְׁמֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁷ All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

MAR ⁷ Et si quelqu'un d'eux vient me visiter, il parle en mensonge ; son coeur s'amasse de quoi me fâcher. Est-il sorti ? il en parle dehors.

WLC ⁷ וְאִם־ בָּ֤א לִרְא֨וֹת ׀ שָׁ֤וְא יְדַבֵּ֗ר לִבּ֗וֹ יִקְבָּץ־ אָ֥וֶן ל֑וֹ יֵצֵ֖א לַח֣וּץ יְדַבֵּֽר׃

KJV ⁸ An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

MAR ⁸ Tous ceux qui m'ont en haine murmurent sourdement ensemble contre moi, [et] machinent du mal contre moi.

WLC ⁸ יַ֗חַד עָלַ֣י יִ֭תְלַחֲשׁוּ כָּל־ שֹׂנְאָ֑י עָלַ֓י ׀ יַחְשְׁב֖וּ רָעָ֣ה לִֽי׃

KJV ⁹ Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

MAR ⁹ Quelque action, [disent-ils, telle que] les méchants [commettent], le tient enserré, et cet homme qui est couché, ne se relèvera plus.

WLC ⁹ דְּֽבַר־ בְּ֭לִיַּעַל יָצ֣וּק בּ֑וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁ֝כַ֗ב לֹא־ יוֹסִ֥יף לָקֽוּם׃

KJV ¹⁰ But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

MAR ¹⁰ Même celui qui avait la paix avec moi, sur lequel je m'assurais, [et] qui mangeait mon pain, a levé le talon contre moi.

WLC ¹⁰ גַּם־ אִ֤ישׁ שְׁלוֹמִ֨י ׀ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּטַ֣חְתִּי ב֭וֹ אוֹכֵ֣ל לַחְמִ֑י הִגְדִּ֖יל עָלַ֣י עָקֵֽב׃

KJV ¹¹ By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

MAR ¹¹ Mais toi, ô Eternel ! aie pitié de moi, et me relève ; et je le leur rendrai.

WLC ¹¹ וְאַתָּ֤ה יְהוָ֗ה חָנֵּ֥נִי וַהֲקִימֵ֑נִי וַֽאֲשַׁלְּמָ֥ה לָהֶֽם׃

KJV ¹² And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

MAR ¹² En ceci je connais que tu prends plaisir en moi, que mon ennemi ne triomphe point de moi.

WLC ¹² בְּזֹ֣את יָ֭דַעְתִּי כִּֽי־ חָפַ֣צְתָּ בִּ֑י כִּ֤י לֹֽא־ יָרִ֖יעַ אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃

KJV ¹³ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

MAR ¹³ Pour moi, tu m'as maintenu dans mon entier, et tu m'as établi devant toi pour toujours.
