WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ אֶֽל־ הַנְּחִיל֗וֹת מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

BAN ² Prête l'oreille à mes paroles, ô Eternel !
Comprends mon soupir !

KJV ² Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

WLC ² אֲמָרַ֖י הַאֲזִ֥ינָה ׀ יְהוָ֗ה בִּ֣ינָה הֲגִֽיגִי׃

BAN ³ Sois attentif à la voix de mon appel, mon roi et mon Dieu !
Car c'est à toi que j'adresse ma prière.

KJV ³ My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

WLC ³ הַקְשִׁ֤יבָה ׀ לְק֬וֹל שַׁוְעִ֗י מַלְכִּ֥י וֵאלֹהָ֑י כִּֽי־ אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ אֶתְפַּלָּֽל׃

BAN ⁴ Eternel ! dès le matin daigne entendre ma voix ;
Dès le matin je place devant toi ma requête, et j'attends.

KJV ⁴ For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

WLC ⁴ יְֽהוָ֗ה בֹּ֭קֶר תִּשְׁמַ֣ע קוֹלִ֑י בֹּ֥קֶר אֶֽעֱרָךְ־ לְ֝ךָ֗ וַאֲצַפֶּֽה׃

BAN ⁵ Car tu n'es pas un Dieu qui prenne plaisir au mal ;
Le méchant n'est pas l'hôte que tu accueilles,

KJV ⁵ The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

WLC ⁵ כִּ֤י ׀ לֹ֤א אֵֽל־ חָפֵ֘ץ רֶ֥שַׁע ׀ אָ֑תָּה לֹ֖א יְגֻרְךָ֣ רָֽע׃

BAN ⁶ Les orgueilleux ne peuvent se présenter à tes regards ;
Tu hais tous les ouvriers d'iniquité,

KJV ⁶ Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

WLC ⁶ לֹֽא־ יִתְיַצְּב֣וּ הֽ֭וֹלְלִים לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינֶ֑יךָ שָׂ֝נֵ֗אתָ כָּל־ פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃

BAN ⁷ Tu fais périr ceux qui disent le mensonge ;
L'Eternel a en abomination l'homme de sang et de fraude.

KJV ⁷ But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

WLC ⁷ תְּאַבֵּד֮ דֹּבְרֵ֪י כָ֫זָ֥ב אִישׁ־ דָּמִ֥ים וּמִרְמָ֗ה יְתָ֘עֵ֥ב ׀ יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ⁸ Et moi, dans l'abondance de ta faveur, j'entrerai dans ta maison,
Je me prosternerai devant le palais de ta sainteté avec la crainte qui t'appartient.

KJV ⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

WLC ⁸ וַאֲנִ֗י בְּרֹ֣ב חַ֭סְדְּךָ אָב֣וֹא בֵיתֶ֑ךָ אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה אֶל־ הֵֽיכַל־ קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ בְּיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃

BAN ⁹ Eternel, conduis-moi par ta justice, à cause de ceux qui m'épient ;
Aplanis ta voie devant moi !

KJV ⁹ For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

WLC ⁹ יְהוָ֤ה ׀ נְחֵ֬נִי בְצִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ לְמַ֥עַן שׁוֹרְרָ֑י לְפָנַ֣י דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃

BAN ¹⁰ Car il n'y a aucune droiture dans leur bouche ;
Leur coeur est un gouffre de perdition,
Leur gosier est un sépulcre ouvert,
Ils flattent de leur langue.

KJV ¹⁰ Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

WLC ¹⁰ כִּ֤י אֵ֪ין בְּפִ֡יהוּ נְכוֹנָה֮ קִרְבָּ֪ם הַ֫וּ֥וֹת קֶֽבֶר־ פָּת֥וּחַ גְּרוֹנָ֑ם לְ֝שׁוֹנָ֗ם יַחֲלִֽיקוּן׃

BAN ¹¹ Traite-les en coupables, ô Dieu ! qu'ils échouent dans leurs projets !
Au milieu de leurs nombreux crimes, précipite-les...
Car ils se sont dressés contre toi.

KJV ¹¹ But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

WLC ¹¹ הַֽאֲשִׁימֵ֨ם ׀ אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים יִפְּלוּ֮ מִֽמֹּעֲצ֪וֹתֵ֫יהֶ֥ם בְּרֹ֣ב פִּ֭שְׁעֵיהֶם הַדִּיחֵ֑מוֹ כִּי־ מָ֥רוּ בָֽךְ׃

BAN ¹² Car tu béniras le juste, ô Eternel !
Tu l'environneras de bienveillance comme d'un bouclier.

KJV ¹² For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

WLC ¹² וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ כָל־ ח֪וֹסֵי בָ֡ךְ לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְ֭רַנֵּנוּ וְתָסֵ֣ךְ עָלֵ֑ימוֹ וְֽיַעְלְצ֥וּ בְ֝ךָ֗ אֹהֲבֵ֥י שְׁמֶֽךָ׃

WLC ¹³ כִּֽי־ אַתָּה֮ תְּבָרֵ֪ךְ צַ֫דִּ֥יק יְהוָ֑ה כַּ֝צִּנָּ֗ה רָצ֥וֹן תַּעְטְרֶֽנּוּ׃
