KJV 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

KJV 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

KJV 4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

KJV 5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

KJV 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

ut justificeris in sermonibus tuis,

WLC 6 וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ שָׁמַ֣יִם צִדְק֑וֹ כִּֽי־ אֱלֹהִ֓ים ׀ שֹׁפֵ֖ט ה֣וּא סֶֽלָה׃
KJV 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

KJV 8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

incerta et occulta sapientiæ tuæ manifestasti mihi.
WLC 8 לֹ֣א עַל־ זְ֭בָחֶיךָ אוֹכִיחֶ֑ךָ וְעוֹלֹתֶ֖יךָ לְנֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִֽיד׃
KJV 9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
VULC 9 Asperges me hyssopo, et mundabor ;
lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor.

KJV 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

et exsultabunt ossa humiliata.

KJV 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
VULC 11 Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis,
et omnes iniquitates meas dele.

KJV 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

et spiritum rectum innova in visceribus meis.

KJV 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
VULC 13 Ne projicias me a facie tua,
et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me.
WLC 13 הַֽ֭אוֹכַל בְּשַׂ֣ר אַבִּירִ֑ים וְדַ֖ם עַתּוּדִ֣ים אֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃
KJV 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
VULC 14 Redde mihi lætitiam salutaris tui,
et spiritu principali confirma me.
WLC 14 זְבַ֣ח לֵאלֹהִ֣ים תּוֹדָ֑ה וְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְעֶלְי֣וֹן נְדָרֶֽיךָ׃
KJV 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

et impii ad te convertentur.

KJV 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
VULC 16 Libera me de sanguinibus, Deus, Deus salutis meæ,
et exsultabit lingua mea justitiam tuam.

KJV 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.
VULC 17 Domine, labia mea aperies,
et os meum annuntiabit laudem tuam.

KJV 18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
VULC 18 Quoniam si voluisses sacrificium, dedissem utique ;
holocaustis non delectaberis.
WLC 18 אִם־ רָאִ֣יתָ גַ֭נָּב וַתִּ֣רֶץ עִמּ֑וֹ וְעִ֖ם מְנָאֲפִ֣ים חֶלְקֶֽךָ׃
KJV 19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
VULC 19 Sacrificium Deo spiritus contribulatus ;
cor contritum et humiliatum, Deus, non despicies.
WLC 19 פִּ֭יךָ שָׁלַ֣חְתָּ בְרָעָ֑ה וּ֝לְשׁוֹנְךָ֗ תַּצְמִ֥יד מִרְמָֽה׃
KJV 20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
VULC 20 Benigne fac, Domine, in bona voluntate tua Sion,
ut ædificentur muri Jerusalem.

KJV 21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

KJV 22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

KJV 23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
