KJV ¹ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

KJV ² Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

WLC ² בְּֽבוֹא־ אֵ֭לָיו נָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֑יא כַּֽאֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֝֗א אֶל־ בַּת־ שָֽׁבַע׃

BCC ³ Aie pitié de moi, ô Dieu, selon ta bonté ; selon ta grande miséricorde efface mes transgressions.

KJV ³ For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

VULC ³ [Quid gloriaris in malitia,
qui potens es in iniquitate ?

WLC ³ חָנֵּ֣נִי אֱלֹהִ֣ים כְּחַסְדֶּ֑ךָ כְּרֹ֥ב רַ֝חֲמֶ֗יךָ מְחֵ֣ה פְשָׁעָֽי׃

BCC ⁴ Lave-moi complètement de mon iniquité, et purifie-moi de mon péché.

KJV ⁴ Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

VULC ⁴ Tota die injustitiam cogitavit lingua tua ;
sicut novacula acuta fecisti dolum.

WLC ⁴ כַּבְּסֵ֣נִי מֵעֲוֺנִ֑י וּֽמֵחַטָּאתִ֥י טַהֲרֵֽנִי׃

BCC ⁵ Car je reconnais mes transgressions, et mon péché est constamment devant moi.

KJV ⁵ Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

VULC ⁵ Dilexisti malitiam super benignitatem ;
iniquitatem magis quam loqui æquitatem.

WLC ⁵ כִּֽי־ פְ֭שָׁעַי אֲנִ֣י אֵדָ֑ע וְחַטָּאתִ֖י נֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִֽיד׃

BCC ⁶ C'est contre toi seul que j'ai péché, j'ai fait ce qui est mal à tes yeux, afin que tu sois trouvé juste dans ta sentence, sans reproche dans ton jugement.

KJV ⁶ Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

VULC ⁶ Dilexisti omnia verba præcipitationis ;
lingua dolosa.

WLC ⁶ לְךָ֤ לְבַדְּךָ֨ ׀ חָטָאתִי֮ וְהָרַ֥ע בְּעֵינֶ֗יךָ עָ֫שִׂ֥יתִי לְ֭מַעַן תִּצְדַּ֥ק בְּדָבְרֶ֗ךָ תִּזְכֶּ֥ה בְשָׁפְטֶֽךָ׃

BCC ⁷ Voici que je suis né dans l'iniquité et ma mère m'a conçu dans le péché.

KJV ⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

VULC ⁷ Propterea Deus destruet te in finem ;
evellet te, et emigrabit te de tabernaculo tuo,
et radicem tuam de terra viventium.

WLC ⁷ הֵן־ בְּעָו֥וֹן חוֹלָ֑לְתִּי וּ֝בְחֵ֗טְא יֶֽחֱמַ֥תְנִי אִמִּֽי׃

BCC ⁸ Voici que tu veux que la sincérité soit dans le coeur au dedans de moi fais-moi connaître la sagesse.

KJV ⁸ Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

VULC ⁸ Videbunt justi, et timebunt ;
et super eum ridebunt, et dicent :

WLC ⁸ הֵן־ אֱ֭מֶת חָפַ֣צְתָּ בַטֻּח֑וֹת וּ֝בְסָתֻ֗ם חָכְמָ֥ה תוֹדִיעֵֽנִי׃

BCC ⁹ Purifie-moi avec l'hysope, et je serai pur ; lave-moi, et je serai plus blanc que la neige.

KJV ⁹ Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

VULC ⁹ Ecce homo qui non posuit Deum adjutorem suum ;
sed speravit in multitudine divitiarum suarum,
et prævaluit in vanitate sua.

WLC ⁹ תְּחַטְּאֵ֣נִי בְאֵז֣וֹב וְאֶטְהָ֑ר תְּ֝כַבְּסֵ֗נִי וּמִשֶּׁ֥לֶג אַלְבִּֽין׃

BCC ¹⁰ Annonce-moi la joie et l'allégresse, et les os que tu as brisés se réjouiront.

KJV ¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

VULC ¹⁰ Ego autem, sicut oliva fructifera in domo Dei ;
speravi in misericordia Dei, in æternum et in sæculum sæculi.

WLC ¹⁰ תַּ֭שְׁמִיעֵנִי שָׂשׂ֣וֹן וְשִׂמְחָ֑ה תָּ֝גֵ֗לְנָה עֲצָמ֥וֹת דִּכִּֽיתָ׃

BCC ¹¹ Détourne ta face de mes péchés, efface toutes mes iniquités.

KJV ¹¹ Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

VULC ¹¹ Confitebor tibi in sæculum, quia fecisti ;
et exspectabo nomen tuum,
quoniam bonum est in conspectu sanctorum tuorum.]

WLC ¹¹ הַסְתֵּ֣ר פָּ֭נֶיךָ מֵחֲטָאָ֑י וְֽכָל־ עֲוֺ֖נֹתַ֣י מְחֵֽה׃

BCC ¹² Ô Dieu, crée en moi un coeur pur ; et renouvelle au dedans de moi un esprit ferme.

KJV ¹² Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

WLC ¹² לֵ֣ב טָ֭הוֹר בְּרָא־ לִ֣י אֱלֹהִ֑ים וְר֥וּחַ נָ֝כ֗וֹן חַדֵּ֥שׁ בְּקִרְבִּֽי׃

BCC ¹³ Ne me rejette pas loin de ta face, ne me retire pas ton esprit saint.

KJV ¹³ Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

WLC ¹³ אַל־ תַּשְׁלִיכֵ֥נִי מִלְּפָנֶ֑יךָ וְר֥וּחַ קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ אַל־ תִּקַּ֥ח מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
