KJV ⁴ Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

et purifie-moi de mon péché,

KJV ⁵ Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

KJV ⁶ Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

S21 ⁶ J'ai péché contre toi, contre toi seul,
j'ai fait ce qui est mal à tes yeux.
*C'est pourquoi tu es juste dans tes paroles,
sans reproche dans ton jugement. 

WLC ⁶ לְךָ֤ לְבַדְּךָ֨ ׀ חָטָאתִי֮ וְהָרַ֥ע בְּעֵינֶ֗יךָ עָ֫שִׂ֥יתִי לְ֭מַעַן תִּצְדַּ֥ק בְּדָבְרֶ֗ךָ תִּזְכֶּ֥ה בְשָׁפְטֶֽךָ׃

KJV ⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

fais-moi connaître la sagesse dans le secret de mon être!

KJV ⁹ Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

S21 ⁹ Purifie-moi avec l'hysope, et je serai pur,
lave-moi, et je serai plus blanc que la neige!

KJV ¹⁴ Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

KJV ¹⁷ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

mais tu ne prends pas plaisir aux holocaustes.

KJV ¹⁹ Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

S21 ¹⁹ Les sacrifices agréables à Dieu, c'est un esprit brisé.
O Dieu, tu ne dédaignes pas un cœur brisé et humilié.

WLC ¹⁹ זִֽבְחֵ֣י אֱלֹהִים֮ ר֪וּחַ נִשְׁבָּ֫רָ֥ה לֵב־ נִשְׁבָּ֥ר וְנִדְכֶּ֑ה אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לֹ֣א תִבְזֶֽה׃

S21 ²⁰ Dans ta grâce, fais du bien à Sion,
construis les murs de Jérusalem!

WLC ²⁰ הֵיטִ֣יבָה בִ֭רְצוֹנְךָ אֶת־ צִיּ֑וֹן תִּ֝בְנֶ֗ה חוֹמ֥וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

S21 ²¹ Alors tu prendras plaisir aux sacrifices de justice,
aux holocaustes et aux victimes tout entières;
alors on offrira des taureaux sur ton autel.

WLC ²¹ אָ֤ז תַּחְפֹּ֣ץ זִבְחֵי־ צֶ֭דֶק עוֹלָ֣ה וְכָלִ֑יל אָ֤ז יַעֲל֖וּ עַל־ מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣ פָרִֽים׃
