WLC ¹ לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־ מָחֲלַ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃

KJV ² God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

KJV ⁴ Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

LSG ⁴ (53:5) Ceux qui commettent l'iniquité ont-ils perdu le sens ? Ils dévorent mon peuple, ils le prennent pour nourriture ; Ils n'invoquent point Dieu.

WLC ⁴ כֻּלּ֥וֹ סָג֮ יַחְדָּ֪ו נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ אֵ֤ין עֹֽשֵׂה־ ט֑וֹב אֵ֝֗ין גַּם־ אֶחָֽד׃

KJV ⁵ There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

LSG ⁵ (53:6) Alors ils trembleront d'épouvante, Sans qu'il y ait sujet d'épouvante ; Dieu dispersera les os de ceux qui campent contre toi ; Tu les confondras, car Dieu les a rejetés.

WLC ⁵ הֲלֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ פֹּ֤עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּי אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃

KJV ⁶ Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

LSG ⁶ (53:7) Oh ! qui fera partir de Sion la délivrance d'Israël ? Quand Dieu ramènera les captifs de son peuple, Jacob sera dans l'allégresse, Israël se réjouira.

WLC ⁷ מִ֥י יִתֵּ֣ן מִצִּיּוֹן֮ יְשֻׁע֪וֹת יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל בְּשׁ֣וּב אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁב֣וּת עַמּ֑וֹ יָגֵ֥ל יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב יִשְׂמַ֥ח יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
