Psaumes 7KJV 1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

KJV 2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

KJV 3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
VULC 3 nequando rapiat ut leo animam meam,
dum non est qui redimat, neque qui salvum faciat.

KJV 4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

WLC 4 יְהוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהַי אִם־ עָשִׂ֣יתִי זֹ֑את אִֽם־ יֶשׁ־ עָ֥וֶל בְּכַפָּֽי׃
KJV 5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

KJV 6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
VULC 6 Persequatur inimicus animam meam, et comprehendat ;
et conculcet in terra vitam meam,
et gloriam meam in pulverem deducat.

KJV 7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

et exaltare in finibus inimicorum meorum :
et exsurge, Domine Deus meus, in præcepto quod mandasti,
WLC 7 ק֘וּמָ֤ה יְהוָ֨ה ׀ בְּאַפֶּ֗ךָ הִ֭נָּשֵׂא בְּעַבְר֣וֹת צוֹרְרָ֑י וְע֥וּרָה אֵ֝לַ֗י מִשְׁפָּ֥ט צִוִּֽיתָ׃
KJV 8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

et propter hanc in altum regredere :
WLC 8 וַעֲדַ֣ת לְ֭אֻמִּים תְּסוֹבְבֶ֑ךָּ וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ לַמָּר֥וֹם שֽׁוּבָה׃
KJV 9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

Judica me, Domine, secundum justitiam meam,
et secundum innocentiam meam super me.

KJV 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
VULC 10 Consumetur nequitia peccatorum, et diriges justum,
scrutans corda et renes, Deus.

KJV 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
VULC 11 Justum adjutorium meum a Domino,
qui salvos facit rectos corde.
WLC 11 מָֽגִנִּ֥י עַל־ אֱלֹהִ֑ים מ֝וֹשִׁ֗יעַ יִשְׁרֵי־ לֵֽב׃
KJV 12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

numquid irascitur per singulos dies ?
WLC 12 אֱ֭לֹהִים שׁוֹפֵ֣ט צַדִּ֑יק וְ֝אֵ֗ל זֹעֵ֥ם בְּכָל־ יֽוֹם׃
KJV 13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
VULC 13 Nisi conversi fueritis, gladium suum vibrabit ;
arcum suum tetendit, et paravit illum.
WLC 13 אִם־ לֹ֣א יָ֭שׁוּב חַרְבּ֣וֹ יִלְט֑וֹשׁ קַשְׁתּ֥וֹ דָ֝רַ֗ךְ וַֽיְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃
KJV 14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
VULC 14 Et in eo paravit vasa mortis,
sagittas suas ardentibus effecit.

KJV 15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
VULC 15 Ecce parturiit injustitiam ;
concepit dolorem, et peperit iniquitatem.
WLC 15 הִנֵּ֥ה יְחַבֶּל־ אָ֑וֶן וְהָרָ֥ה עָ֝מָ֗ל וְיָ֣לַד שָֽׁקֶר׃
KJV 16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
VULC 16 Lacum aperuit, et effodit eum ;
et incidit in foveam quam fecit.
WLC 16 בּ֣וֹר כָּ֭רָֽה וַֽיַּחְפְּרֵ֑הוּ וַ֝יִּפֹּ֗ל בְּשַׁ֣חַת יִפְעָֽל׃
KJV 17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
