WLC ¹ לִשְׁלֹמֹ֨ה ׀ אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ תֵּ֑ן וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ לְבֶן־ מֶֽלֶךְ׃

KJV ² He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

VULC ² Mei autem pene moti sunt pedes,
pene effusi sunt gressus mei :

WLC ² יָדִ֣ין עַמְּךָ֣ בְצֶ֑דֶק וַעֲנִיֶּ֥יךָ בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

KJV ³ The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

VULC ³ quia zelavi super iniquos,
pacem peccatorum videns.

WLC ³ יִשְׂא֤וּ הָרִ֓ים שָׁ֘ל֥וֹם לָעָ֑ם וּ֝גְבָע֗וֹת בִּצְדָקָֽה׃

KJV ⁴ He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

VULC ⁴ Quia non est respectus morti eorum,
et firmamentum in plaga eorum.

WLC ⁴ יִשְׁפֹּ֤ט ׀ עֲ‍ֽנִיֵּי־ עָ֗ם י֭וֹשִׁיעַ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶבְי֑וֹן וִֽידַכֵּ֣א עוֹשֵֽׁק׃

KJV ⁵ They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

VULC ⁵ In labore hominum non sunt,
et cum hominibus non flagellabuntur.

WLC ⁵ יִֽירָא֥וּךָ עִם־ שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וְלִפְנֵ֥י יָ֝רֵ֗חַ דּ֣וֹר דּוֹרִֽים׃

KJV ⁶ He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

VULC ⁶ Ideo tenuit eos superbia ;
operti sunt iniquitate et impietate sua.

WLC ⁶ יֵ֭רֵד כְּמָטָ֣ר עַל־ גֵּ֑ז כִּ֝רְבִיבִ֗ים זַרְזִ֥יף אָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ⁷ In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

VULC ⁷ Prodiit quasi ex adipe iniquitas eorum ;
transierunt in affectum cordis.

WLC ⁷ יִֽפְרַח־ בְּיָמָ֥יו צַדִּ֑יק וְרֹ֥ב שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַד־ בְּלִ֥י יָרֵֽחַ׃

KJV ⁸ He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

VULC ⁸ Cogitaverunt et locuti sunt nequitiam ;
iniquitatem in excelso locuti sunt.

WLC ⁸ וְ֭יֵרְדְּ מִיָּ֣ם עַד־ יָ֑ם וּ֝מִנָּהָ֗ר עַד־ אַפְסֵי־ אָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ⁹ They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

VULC ⁹ Posuerunt in cælum os suum,
et lingua eorum transivit in terra.

WLC ⁹ לְ֭פָנָיו יִכְרְע֣וּ צִיִּ֑ים וְ֝אֹיְבָ֗יו עָפָ֥ר יְלַחֵֽכוּ׃

KJV ¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

KJV ¹¹ Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

VULC ¹¹ Et dixerunt : Quomodo scit Deus,
et si est scientia in excelso ?

WLC ¹¹ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־ ל֥וֹ כָל־ מְלָכִ֑ים כָּל־ גּוֹיִ֥ם יַֽעַבְדֽוּהוּ׃

KJV ¹² For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

VULC ¹² Ecce ipsi peccatores, et abundantes in sæculo
obtinuerunt divitias.

WLC ¹² כִּֽי־ יַ֭צִּיל אֶבְי֣וֹן מְשַׁוֵּ֑עַ וְ֝עָנִ֗י וְֽאֵין־ עֹזֵ֥ר לֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹³ He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

VULC ¹³ Et dixi : Ergo sine causa justificavi cor meum,
et lavi inter innocentes manus meas,

WLC ¹³ יָ֭חֹס עַל־ דַּ֣ל וְאֶבְי֑וֹן וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹת אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

KJV ¹⁴ He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

VULC ¹⁴ et fui flagellatus tota die,
et castigatio mea in matutinis.

WLC ¹⁴ מִתּ֣וֹךְ וּ֭מֵחָמָס יִגְאַ֣ל נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְיֵיקַ֖ר דָּמָ֣ם בְּעֵינָֽיו׃

KJV ¹⁵ And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

ecce nationem filiorum tuorum reprobavi.

KJV ¹⁶ There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

KJV ¹⁷ His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

KJV ¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

VULC ¹⁸ Verumtamen propter dolos posuisti eis ;
dejecisti eos dum allevarentur.

WLC ¹⁸ בָּר֤וּךְ ׀ יְהוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עֹשֵׂ֖ה נִפְלָא֣וֹת לְבַדּֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁹ And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

et renes mei commutati sunt ;

VULC ²³ ut jumentum factus sum apud te,
et ego semper tecum.

VULC ²⁴ Tenuisti manum dexteram meam,
et in voluntate tua deduxisti me,
et cum gloria suscepisti me.

VULC ²⁵ Quid enim mihi est in cælo ?
et a te quid volui super terram ?

VULC ²⁶ Defecit caro mea et cor meum ;
Deus cordis mei, et pars mea, Deus in æternum.

VULC ²⁷ Quia ecce qui elongant se a te peribunt ;
perdidisti omnes qui fornicantur abs te.

VULC ²⁸ Mihi autem adhærere Deo bonum est ;
ponere in Domino Deo spem meam :
ut annuntiem omnes prædicationes tuas
in portis filiæ Sion.]
