KJV 1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

VULC 1 Psalmus Asaph. [Quam bonus Israël Deus,

WLC 1 לִשְׁלֹמֹ֨ה ׀ אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ תֵּ֑ן וְצִדְקָתְךָ֥ לְבֶן־ מֶֽלֶךְ׃

KJV 2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

VULC 2 Mei autem pene moti sunt pedes,
pene effusi sunt gressus mei :

WLC 2 יָדִ֣ין עַמְּךָ֣ בְצֶ֑דֶק וַעֲנִיֶּ֥יךָ בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

KJV 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

VULC 3 quia zelavi super iniquos,
pacem peccatorum videns.

WLC 3 יִשְׂא֤וּ הָרִ֓ים שָׁ֘ל֥וֹם לָעָ֑ם וּ֝גְבָע֗וֹת בִּצְדָקָֽה׃

KJV 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

VULC 4 Quia non est respectus morti eorum,
et firmamentum in plaga eorum.

WLC 4 יִשְׁפֹּ֤ט ׀ עֲ‍ֽנִיֵּי־ עָ֗ם י֭וֹשִׁיעַ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶבְי֑וֹן וִֽידַכֵּ֣א עוֹשֵֽׁק׃

KJV 5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

VULC 5 In labore hominum non sunt,
et cum hominibus non flagellabuntur.

WLC 5 יִֽירָא֥וּךָ עִם־ שָׁ֑מֶשׁ וְלִפְנֵ֥י יָ֝רֵ֗חַ דּ֣וֹר דּוֹרִֽים׃

KJV 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

VULC 6 Ideo tenuit eos superbia ;
operti sunt iniquitate et impietate sua.

WLC 6 יֵ֭רֵד כְּמָטָ֣ר עַל־ גֵּ֑ז כִּ֝רְבִיבִ֗ים זַרְזִ֥יף אָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

VULC 7 Prodiit quasi ex adipe iniquitas eorum ;
transierunt in affectum cordis.

WLC 7 יִֽפְרַח־ בְּיָמָ֥יו צַדִּ֑יק וְרֹ֥ב שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַד־ בְּלִ֥י יָרֵֽחַ׃

KJV 8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

VULC 8 Cogitaverunt et locuti sunt nequitiam ;
iniquitatem in excelso locuti sunt.

WLC 8 וְ֭יֵרְדְּ מִיָּ֣ם עַד־ יָ֑ם וּ֝מִנָּהָ֗ר עַד־ אַפְסֵי־ אָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

VULC 9 Posuerunt in cælum os suum,
et lingua eorum transivit in terra.

WLC 9 לְ֭פָנָיו יִכְרְע֣וּ צִיִּ֑ים וְ֝אֹיְבָ֗יו עָפָ֥ר יְלַחֵֽכוּ׃

KJV 10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

VULC 10 Ideo convertetur populus meus hic,
et dies pleni invenientur in eis.

WLC 10 מַלְכֵ֬י תַרְשִׁ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִיִּים מִנְחָ֣ה יָשִׁ֑יבוּ מַלְכֵ֥י שְׁבָ֥א וּ֝סְבָ֗א אֶשְׁכָּ֥ר יַקְרִֽיבוּ׃

KJV 11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

VULC 11 Et dixerunt : Quomodo scit Deus,
et si est scientia in excelso ?

WLC 11 וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־ ל֥וֹ כָל־ מְלָכִ֑ים כָּל־ גּוֹיִ֥ם יַֽעַבְדֽוּהוּ׃

KJV 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

VULC 12 Ecce ipsi peccatores, et abundantes in sæculo
obtinuerunt divitias.

WLC 12 כִּֽי־ יַ֭צִּיל אֶבְי֣וֹן מְשַׁוֵּ֑עַ וְ֝עָנִ֗י וְֽאֵין־ עֹזֵ֥ר לֽוֹ׃

KJV 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

VULC 13 Et dixi : Ergo sine causa justificavi cor meum,
et lavi inter innocentes manus meas,

WLC 13 יָ֭חֹס עַל־ דַּ֣ל וְאֶבְי֑וֹן וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹת אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃

KJV 14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

VULC 14 et fui flagellatus tota die,
et castigatio mea in matutinis.

WLC 14 מִתּ֣וֹךְ וּ֭מֵחָמָס יִגְאַ֣ל נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְיֵיקַ֖ר דָּמָ֣ם בְּעֵינָֽיו׃

KJV 15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

VULC 15 Si dicebam : Narrabo sic ;
ecce nationem filiorum tuorum reprobavi.

WLC 15 וִיחִ֗י וְיִתֶּן־ לוֹ֮ מִזְּהַ֪ב שְׁ֫בָ֥א וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל בַּעֲד֣וֹ תָמִ֑יד כָּל־ הַ֝יּ֗וֹם יְבָרֲכֶֽנְהֽוּ׃

KJV 16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

VULC 16 Existimabam ut cognoscerem hoc ;
labor est ante me :

WLC 16 יְהִ֤י פִסַּת־ בַּ֨ר ׀ בָּאָרֶץ֮ בְּרֹ֪אשׁ הָ֫רִ֥ים יִרְעַ֣שׁ כַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן פִּרְי֑וֹ וְיָצִ֥יצוּ מֵ֝עִ֗יר כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

VULC 17 donec intrem in sanctuarium Dei,
et intelligam in novissimis eorum.

WLC 17 יְהִ֤י שְׁמ֨וֹ לְֽעוֹלָ֗ם לִפְנֵי־ שֶׁמֶשׁ֮ שְׁ֫מ֥וֹ וְיִתְבָּ֥רְכוּ ב֑וֹ כָּל־ גּוֹיִ֥ם יְאַשְּׁרֽוּהוּ׃

KJV 18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

VULC 18 Verumtamen propter dolos posuisti eis ;
dejecisti eos dum allevarentur.

WLC 18 בָּר֤וּךְ ׀ יְהוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עֹשֵׂ֖ה נִפְלָא֣וֹת לְבַדּֽוֹ׃

KJV 19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

VULC 19 Quomodo facti sunt in desolationem ?
subito defecerunt : perierunt propter iniquitatem suam.

WLC 19 וּבָר֤וּךְ ׀ שֵׁ֥ם כְּבוֹד֗וֹ לְע֫וֹלָ֥ם וְיִמָּלֵ֣א כְ֭בוֹדוֹ אֶת־ כֹּ֥ל הָאָ֗רֶץ אָ֘מֵ֥ן ׀ וְאָמֵֽן׃

KJV 20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

VULC 20 Velut somnium surgentium, Domine,
in civitate tua imaginem ipsorum ad nihilum rediges.

WLC 20 כָּלּ֥וּ תְפִלּ֑וֹת דָּ֝וִ֗ד בֶּן־ יִשָֽׁי׃

VULC 21 Quia inflammatum est cor meum,
et renes mei commutati sunt ;

VULC 22 et ego ad nihilum redactus sum, et nescivi :

VULC 23 ut jumentum factus sum apud te,
et ego semper tecum.

VULC 24 Tenuisti manum dexteram meam,
et in voluntate tua deduxisti me,
et cum gloria suscepisti me.

VULC 25 Quid enim mihi est in cælo ?
et a te quid volui super terram ?

VULC 26 Defecit caro mea et cor meum ;
Deus cordis mei, et pars mea, Deus in æternum.

VULC 27 Quia ecce qui elongant se a te peribunt ;
perdidisti omnes qui fornicantur abs te.

VULC 28 Mihi autem adhærere Deo bonum est ;
ponere in Domino Deo spem meam :
ut annuntiem omnes prædicationes tuas
in portis filiæ Sion.]
