VULC ² [Deus, quis similis erit tibi ?
ne taceas, neque compescaris, Deus :

KJV ³ Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

VULC ³ quoniam ecce inimici tui sonuerunt,
et qui oderunt te extulerunt caput.

KJV ⁴ Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

VULC ⁴ Super populum tuum malignaverunt consilium,
et cogitaverunt adversus sanctos tuos.

KJV ⁵ They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

VULC ⁵ Dixerunt : Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente,
et non memoretur nomen Israël ultra.
