KJV 2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
VULC 2 [Benedixisti, Domine, terram tuam ;
avertisti captivitatem Jacob.
KJV 3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
VULC 3 Remisisti iniquitatem plebis tuæ ;
operuisti omnia peccata eorum.
KJV 4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
VULC 4 Mitigasti omnem iram tuam ;
avertisti ab ira indignationis tuæ.
KJV 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
VULC 5 Converte nos, Deus salutaris noster,
et averte iram tuam a nobis.
KJV 6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
VULC 6 Numquid in æternum irasceris nobis ?
aut extendes iram tuam a generatione in generationem ?
KJV 7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
VULC 7 Deus, tu conversus vivificabis nos,
et plebs tua lætabitur in te.
KJV 8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
VULC 8 Ostende nobis, Domine, misericordiam tuam,
et salutare tuum da nobis.
KJV 9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
VULC 9 Audiam quid loquatur in me Dominus Deus,
quoniam loquetur pacem in plebem suam,
et super sanctos suos,
et in eos qui convertuntur ad cor.
KJV 10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

ut inhabitet gloria in terra nostra.
KJV 11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

justitia et pax osculatæ sunt.
KJV 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
VULC 12 Veritas de terra orta est,
et justitia de cælo prospexit.
VULC 13 Etenim Dominus dabit benignitatem,
et terra nostra dabit fructum suum.
VULC 14 Justitia ante eum ambulabit,
