Psaumes 9KJV 1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

KJV 2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
VULC 2 [Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo ;
narrabo omnia mirabilia tua.
KJV 3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
VULC 3 Lætabor et exsultabo in te ;
psallam nomini tuo, Altissime.
KJV 4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
VULC 4 In convertendo inimicum meum retrorsum ;
infirmabuntur, et peribunt a facie tua.
KJV 5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
VULC 5 Quoniam fecisti judicium meum et causam meam ;
sedisti super thronum, qui judicas justitiam.
KJV 6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
VULC 6 Increpasti gentes, et periit impius :
nomen eorum delesti in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi.
KJV 7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
VULC 7 Inimici defecerunt frameæ in finem,
et civitates eorum destruxisti.
Periit memoria eorum cum sonitu ;
KJV 8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Paravit in judicio thronum suum,
KJV 9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

judicabit populos in justitia.
KJV 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

adjutor in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione.
KJV 11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

quoniam non dereliquisti quærentes te, Domine.
KJV 12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

annuntiate inter gentes studia ejus :
KJV 13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
VULC 13 quoniam requirens sanguinem eorum recordatus est ;
non est oblitus clamorem pauperum.
KJV 14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

vide humilitatem meam de inimicis meis,
KJV 15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
VULC 15 qui exaltas me de portis mortis,
ut annuntiem omnes laudationes tuas in portis filiæ Sion :
KJV 16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
VULC 16 exsultabo in salutari tuo.
Infixæ sunt gentes in interitu quem fecerunt ;
in laqueo isto quem absconderunt
comprehensus est pes eorum.
KJV 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
VULC 17 Cognoscetur Dominus judicia faciens ;
in operibus manuum suarum comprehensus est peccator.
KJV 18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
VULC 18 Convertantur peccatores in infernum,
omnes gentes quæ obliviscuntur Deum.
KJV 19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
VULC 19 Quoniam non in finem oblivio erit pauperis ;
patientia pauperum non peribit in finem.
KJV 20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
VULC 20 Exsurge, Domine ; non confortetur homo :
judicentur gentes in conspectu tuo.
VULC 21 Constitue, Domine, legislatorem super eos,
ut sciant gentes quoniam homines sunt.
VULC 22 Ut quid, Domine, recessisti longe ;
despicis in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione ?
VULC 23 Dum superbit impius, incenditur pauper :
comprehenduntur in consiliis quibus cogitant.
VULC 24 Quoniam laudatur peccator in desideriis animæ suæ,
et iniquus benedicitur.
VULC 25 Exacerbavit Dominum peccator :
secundum multitudinem iræ suæ, non quæret.
VULC 26 Non est Deus in conspectu ejus ;
inquinatæ sunt viæ illius in omni tempore.
Auferuntur judicia tua a facie ejus ;
omnium inimicorum suorum dominabitur.
VULC 27 Dixit enim in corde suo : Non movebor
a generatione in generationem, sine malo.
VULC 28 Cujus maledictione os plenum est, et amaritudine, et dolo ;
sub lingua ejus labor et dolor.
VULC 29 Sedet in insidiis cum divitibus in occultis,
ut interficiat innocentem.
VULC 30 Oculi ejus in pauperem respiciunt ;
insidiatur in abscondito, quasi leo in spelunca sua.
Insidiatur ut rapiat pauperem ;
rapere pauperem dum attrahit eum.
VULC 31 In laqueo suo humiliabit eum ;
inclinabit se, et cadet cum dominatus fuerit pauperum.
VULC 32 Dixit enim in corde suo : Oblitus est Deus ;
avertit faciem suam, ne videat in finem.
VULC 33 Exsurge, Domine Deus, exaltetur manus tua ;
ne obliviscaris pauperum.
VULC 34 Propter quid irritavit impius Deum ?
dixit enim in corde suo : Non requiret.
VULC 35 Vides, quoniam tu laborem et dolorem consideras,
ut tradas eos in manus tuas.
Tibi derelictus est pauper ;
orphano tu eris adjutor.
VULC 36 Contere brachium peccatoris et maligni ;
quæretur peccatum illius, et non invenietur.
VULC 37 Dominus regnabit in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi ;
peribitis, gentes, de terra illius.
VULC 38 Desiderium pauperum exaudivit Dominus ;
præparationem cordis eorum audivit auris tua :
VULC 39 judicare pupillo et humili,
ut non apponat ultra magnificare se homo super terram.]
