BAN ² Chantez à l'Eternel, bénissez son nom,
Annoncez de jour en jour son salut,

KJV ² Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

WLC ² שִׁ֣ירוּ לַ֭יהוָה בָּרֲכ֣וּ שְׁמ֑וֹ בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיּֽוֹם־ לְ֝י֗וֹם יְשׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃

BAN ³ Racontez parmi les nations sa gloire,
Parmi tous les peuples ses prodiges !

KJV ³ Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

WLC ³ סַפְּר֣וּ בַגּוֹיִ֣ם כְּבוֹד֑וֹ בְּכָל־ הָֽ֝עַמִּ֗ים נִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו׃

BAN ⁴ Car l'Eternel est grand et très digne de louange,
Redoutable par dessus tous les dieux.

KJV ⁴ For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

WLC ⁴ כִּ֥י גָ֘ד֤וֹל יְהוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד נוֹרָ֥א ה֝֗וּא עַל־ כָּל־ אֱלֹהִֽים׃

BAN ⁵ Car tous les dieux des peuples ne sont que des idoles,
Mais l'Eternel a fait les cieux.

KJV ⁵ For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

WLC ⁵ כִּ֤י ׀ כָּל־ אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָעַמִּ֣ים אֱלִילִ֑ים וַֽ֝יהוָ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה׃

BAN ⁶ Gloire et majesté marchent devant lui,
Force et magnificence sont dans son sanctuaire.

KJV ⁶ Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

WLC ⁶ הוֹד־ וְהָדָ֥ר לְפָנָ֑יו עֹ֥ז וְ֝תִפְאֶ֗רֶת בְּמִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ׃

BAN ⁷ Rendez à l'Eternel, familles des peuples,
Rendez à l'Eternel gloire et puissance !

KJV ⁷ Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

WLC ⁷ הָב֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃

BAN ⁸ Rendez à l'Eternel la gloire due à son nom ;
Apportez l'offrande et venez dans ses parvis,

KJV ⁸ Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

WLC ⁸ הָב֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ שְׂאֽוּ־ מִ֝נְחָ֗ה וּבֹ֥אוּ לְחַצְרוֹתָֽיו׃

BAN ⁹ Prosternez-vous devant l'Eternel
Dans une sainte magnificence ;
Tremblez devant sa face, toute la terre ;

KJV ⁹ O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

WLC ⁹ הִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לַ֭יהוָה בְּהַדְרַת־ קֹ֑דֶשׁ חִ֥ילוּ מִ֝פָּנָ֗יו כָּל־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃

BAN ¹⁰ Dites parmi les nations : L'Eternel règne !
Aussi la terre est-elle affermie ; elle ne chancellera pas ;
Il jugera les peuples avec droiture.

KJV ¹⁰ Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

WLC ¹⁰ אִמְר֤וּ בַגּוֹיִ֨ם ׀ יְה֘וָ֤ה מָלָ֗ךְ אַף־ תִּכּ֣וֹן תֵּ֭בֵל בַּל־ תִּמּ֑וֹט יָדִ֥ין עַ֝מִּ֗ים בְּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃

BAN ¹¹ Que les cieux se réjouissent,
Et que la terre soit dans l'allégresse ;
Que la mer s'émeuve,
Et ce qu'elle contient ;

KJV ¹¹ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

WLC ¹¹ יִשְׂמְח֣וּ הַ֭שָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִֽרְעַ֥ם הַ֝יָּ֗ם וּמְלֹאֽוֹ׃

BAN ¹² Que les champs tressaillent de joie,
Et tout ce qui est en eux !
Alors tous les arbres de la forêt chanteront de joie

KJV ¹² Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

BAN ¹³ En présence de l'Eternel. Car il vient !
Car il vient, pour juger la terre ;

KJV ¹³ Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

WLC ¹³ לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָ֨ה ׀ כִּ֬י בָ֗א כִּ֥י בָא֮ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ יִשְׁפֹּֽט־ תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים בֶּאֱמוּנָתֽוֹ׃

BAN ¹⁴ Il jugera le monde avec justice
Et les peuples selon la vérité !
