KJV ¹ I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

LSG ¹ Je levai les yeux et je regardai, et voici, il y avait un homme tenant dans la main un cordeau pour mesurer.

VULC ¹ Et levavi oculos meos, et vidi, et ecce vir, et in manu ejus funiculus mensorum.

WLC ¹ וָאֶשָּׂ֥א אֶת־ עֵינַ֖י וָאֵ֑רֶא וְהִנֵּ֖ה אַרְבַּ֥ע קְרָנֽוֹת׃

KJV ² Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

LSG ² Je dis: Où vas-tu ? Et il me dit: Je vais mesurer Jérusalem, pour voir de quelle largeur et de quelle longueur elle doit être.

VULC ² Et dixi : Quo tu vadis ? Et dixit ad me : Ut metiar Jerusalem, et videam quanta sit latitudo ejus, et quanta longitudo ejus.

WLC ² וָאֹמַ֗ר אֶל־ הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י מָה־ אֵ֑לֶּה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י אֵ֤לֶּה הַקְּרָנוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר זֵר֣וּ אֶת־ יְהוּדָ֔ה אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִירוּשָׁלָֽם׃

KJV ³ And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

LSG ³ Et voici, l'ange qui parlait avec moi s'avança, et un autre ange vint à sa rencontre.

VULC ³ Et ecce angelus qui loquebatur in me egrediebatur, et angelus alius egrediebatur in occursum ejus :

WLC ³ וַיַּרְאֵ֣נִי יְהוָ֔ה אַרְבָּעָ֖ה חָרָשִֽׁים׃

KJV ⁴ And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

LSG ⁴ Il lui dit: Cours, parle à ce jeune homme, et dis: Jérusalem sera une ville ouverte, à cause de la multitude d'hommes et de bêtes qui seront au milieu d'elle ;

VULC ⁴ et dixit ad eum : Curre, loquere ad puerum istum, dicens : Absque muro habitabitur Jerusalem, præ multitudine hominum et jumentorum in medio ejus.

WLC ⁴ וָאֹמַ֕ר מָ֛ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָאִ֖ים לַֽעֲשׂ֑וֹת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֵאמֹ֗ר אֵ֣לֶּה הַקְּרָנ֞וֹת אֲשֶׁר־ זֵ֣רוּ אֶת־ יְהוּדָ֗ה כְּפִי־ אִישׁ֙ לֹא־ נָשָׂ֣א רֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ לְהַחֲרִ֣יד אֹתָ֔ם לְיַדּ֞וֹת אֶת־ קַרְנ֣וֹת הַגּוֹיִ֗ם הַנֹּשְׂאִ֥ים קֶ֛רֶן אֶל־ אֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָ֖ה לְזָרוֹתָֽהּ׃

KJV ⁵ For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

LSG ⁵ je serai pour elle, dit l'Éternel, une muraille de feu tout autour, et je serai sa gloire au milieu d'elle.

VULC ⁵ Et ego ero ei, ait Dominus, murus ignis in circuitu, et in gloria ero in medio ejus.

WLC ⁵ וָאֶשָּׂ֥א עֵינַ֛י וָאֵ֖רֶא וְהִנֵּה־ אִ֑ישׁ וּבְיָד֖וֹ חֶ֥בֶל מִדָּֽה׃

KJV ⁶ Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

LSG ⁶ Fuyez, fuyez du pays du septentrion ! Dit l'Éternel. Car je vous ai dispersés aux quatre vents des cieux, Dit l'Éternel.

VULC ⁶ [O, o, fugite de terra aquilonis, dicit Dominus,
quoniam in quatuor ventos cæli dispersi vos, dicit Dominus.

WLC ⁶ וָאֹמַ֕ר אָ֖נָה אַתָּ֣ה הֹלֵ֑ךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לָמֹד֙ אֶת־ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לִרְא֥וֹת כַּמָּֽה־ רָחְבָּ֖הּ וְכַמָּ֥ה אָרְכָּֽהּ׃

KJV ⁷ Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

LSG ⁷ Sauve-toi, Sion, Toi qui habites chez la fille de Babylone !

VULC ⁷ O Sion ! fuge, quæ habitas apud filiam Babylonis :

WLC ⁷ וְהִנֵּ֗ה הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י יֹצֵ֑א וּמַלְאָ֣ךְ אַחֵ֔ר יֹצֵ֖א לִקְרָאתֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁸ For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

LSG ⁸ Car ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Après cela, viendra la gloire ! Il m'a envoyé vers les nations qui vous ont dépouillés ; Car celui qui vous touche touche la prunelle de son oeil.

VULC ⁸ quia hæc dicit Dominus exercituum :
Post gloriam misit me ad gentes quæ spoliaverunt vos :
qui enim tetigerit vos, tangit pupillam oculi mei :

WLC ⁸ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔ו רֻ֗ץ דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־ הַנַּ֥עַר הַלָּ֖ז לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּרָזוֹת֙ תֵּשֵׁ֣ב יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם מֵרֹ֥ב אָדָ֛ם וּבְהֵמָ֖ה בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃

KJV ⁹ For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

LSG ⁹ Voici, je lève ma main contre elles, Et elles seront la proie de ceux qui leur étaient asservis. Et vous saurez que l'Éternel des armées m'a envoyé.

VULC ⁹ quia ecce ego levo manum meam super eos,
et erunt prædæ his qui serviebant sibi :
et cognoscetis quia Dominus exercituum misit me.

WLC ⁹ וַאֲנִ֤י אֶֽהְיֶה־ לָּהּ֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה ח֥וֹמַת אֵ֖שׁ סָבִ֑יב וּלְכָב֖וֹד אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹⁰ Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

VULC ¹⁰ Lauda et lætare, filia Sion, quia ecce ego venio,
et habitabo in medio tui, ait Dominus.

WLC ¹⁰ ה֣וֹי ה֗וֹי וְנֻ֛סוּ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ צָפ֖וֹן נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֠י כְּאַרְבַּ֞ע רוּח֧וֹת הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם פֵּרַ֥שְׂתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹¹ And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

LSG ¹¹ Beaucoup de nations s'attacheront à l'Éternel en ce jour-là, Et deviendront mon peuple ; J'habiterai au milieu de toi, Et tu sauras que l'Éternel des armées m'a envoyé vers toi.

VULC ¹¹ Et applicabuntur gentes multæ ad Dominum in die illa,
et erunt mihi in populum,
et habitabo in medio tui :
et scies quia Dominus exercituum misit me ad te.

WLC ¹¹ ה֥וֹי צִיּ֖וֹן הִמָּלְטִ֑י יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת בַּת־ בָּבֶֽל׃

KJV ¹² And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

LSG ¹² L'Éternel possédera Juda comme sa part Dans la terre sainte, Et il choisira encore Jérusalem.

VULC ¹² Et possidebit Dominus Judam partem suam in terra sanctificata,
et eliget adhuc Jerusalem.

WLC ¹² כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָמַר֮ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ אַחַ֣ר כָּב֔וֹד שְׁלָחַ֕נִי אֶל־ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם הַשֹּׁלְלִ֣ים אֶתְכֶ֑ם כִּ֚י הַנֹּגֵ֣עַ בָּכֶ֔ם נֹגֵ֖עַ בְּבָבַ֥ת עֵינֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹³ Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

WLC ¹⁴ רָנִּ֥י וְשִׂמְחִ֖י בַּת־ צִיּ֑וֹן כִּ֧י הִנְנִי־ בָ֛א וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֥י בְתוֹכֵ֖ךְ נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

WLC ¹⁵ וְנִלְווּ֩ גוֹיִ֨ם רַבִּ֤ים אֶל־ יְהוָה֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י לְעָ֑ם וְשָׁכַנְתִּ֣י בְתוֹכֵ֔ךְ וְיָדַ֕עַתְּ כִּי־ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֵלָֽיִךְ׃

WLC ¹⁶ וְנָחַ֨ל יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־ יְהוּדָה֙ חֶלְק֔וֹ עַ֖ל אַדְמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּבָחַ֥ר ע֖וֹד בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

WLC ¹⁷ הַ֥ס כָּל־ בָּשָׂ֖ר מִפְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֥י נֵע֖וֹר מִמְּע֥וֹן קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
