BAN ¹ Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me réveilla de nouveau, comme un homme qu'on réveille de son sommeil.

KJV ¹ And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

VULC ¹ Et reversus est angelus qui loquebatur in me, et suscitavit me quasi virum qui suscitatur de somno suo.

BAN ² Et il me dit : Que vois-tu ? Et je dis : Voici, un candélabre tout en or, avec son bassin à son sommet, muni de ses sept lampes avec sept conduits pour chacune des lampes qui sont à son sommet.

KJV ² And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

VULC ² Et dixit ad me : Quid tu vides ? Et dixi : Vidi, et ecce candelabrum aureum totum, et lampas ejus super caput ipsius, et septem lucernæ ejus super illud, et septem infusoria lucernis quæ erant super caput ejus.

BAN ³ Et deux oliviers le dominent, l'un à droite du bassin, l'autre à gauche.

KJV ³ And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

VULC ³ Et duæ olivæ super illud : una a dextris lampadis, et una a sinistris ejus.

BAN ⁴ Et je repris et dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi : Qu'est-ce que ces choses, mon Seigneur ?

KJV ⁴ So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

VULC ⁴ Et respondi, et aio ad angelum qui loquebatur in me, dicens : Quid sunt hæc, domine mi ?

BAN ⁵ Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me répondit et me dit : Ne sais-tu pas ce que sont ces choses ? Et je répondis : Non, mon Seigneur.

KJV ⁵ Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

VULC ⁵ Et respondit angelus qui loquebatur in me, et dixit ad me : Numquid nescis quid sunt hæc ? Et dixi : Non, domine mi.

BAN ⁶ Et il répondit et me parla, disant : Voici la parole que l'Eternel adresse à Zorobabel : Ni par armée, ni par force, mais par mon Esprit, dit l'Eternel des armées.

KJV ⁶ Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

VULC ⁶ Et respondit, et ait ad me, dicens : Hoc est verbum Domini ad Zorobabel, dicens : Non in exercitu, nec in robore, sed in spiritu meo, dicit Dominus exercituum.

BAN ⁷ Qui es-tu, grande montagne, devant Zorobabel ? Plus rien qu'une plaine. Et il élèvera la pierre au sommet, aux acclamations de : Grâce, grâce sur elle !

KJV ⁷ Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

VULC ⁷ Quis tu, mons magne, coram Zorobabel ? In planum : et educet lapidem primarium, et exæquabit gratiam gratiæ ejus.

BAN ⁸ Et la parole de l'Eternel me fût adressée en ces mots :

KJV ⁸ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

VULC ⁸ Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens :

BAN ⁹ Les mains de Zorobabel ont posé les fondements de cette maison, et ses mains l'achèveront, et tu connaîtras que l'Eternel des armées m'a envoyé vers vous.

KJV ⁹ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

VULC ⁹ Manus Zorobabel fundaverunt domum istam, et manus ejus perficient eam : et scietis quia Dominus exercituum misit me ad vos.

BAN ¹⁰ Car, qui dédaignerait le temps des petites choses ? Ils se sont réjouis en voyant le fil à plomb dans la main de Zorobabel, ces sept-là, les yeux de l'Eternel, eux qui parcourent toute la terre !

KJV ¹⁰ For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

VULC ¹⁰ Quis enim despexit dies parvos ? Et lætabuntur, et videbunt lapidem stanneum in manu Zorobabel. Septem isti oculi sunt Domini, qui discurrunt in universam terram.

BAN ¹¹ Et je répondis et je lui dis : Qu'est-ce que ces deux oliviers à la droite du candélabre et à sa gauche ?

KJV ¹¹ Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

VULC ¹¹ Et respondi, et dixi ad eum : Quid sunt duæ olivæ istæ, ad dexteram candelabri, et ad sinistram ejus ?

BAN ¹² Et je repris la parole et lui dis : Qu'est-ce que ces deux grappes d'olivier auprès des deux entonnoirs d'or desquels l'or découle ?

KJV ¹² And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

VULC ¹² Et respondi secundo, et dixi ad eum : Quid sunt duæ spicæ olivarum quæ sunt juxta duo rostra aurea in quibus sunt suffusoria ex auro ?

BAN ¹³ Et il me parla, disant : Ne sais-tu pas ce que c'est ? Et je dis : Non, mon Seigneur.

KJV ¹³ And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

VULC ¹³ Et ait ad me, dicens : Numquid nescis quid sunt hæc ? Et dixi : Non, domine mi.

BAN ¹⁴ Et il dit : Ce sont les deux fils de l'onction qui se tiennent auprès du Seigneur de toute la terre.

KJV ¹⁴ Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

VULC ¹⁴ Et dixit : Isti sunt duo filii olei, qui assistunt Dominatori universæ terræ.
