DRB ¹ Et de nouveau je levai mes yeux, et je vis ; et voici un rouleau qui volait.

KJV ¹ Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

WLC ¹ וָאָשׁ֕וּב וָאֶשָּׂ֥א עֵינַ֖י וָֽאֶרְאֶ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֖ה מְגִלָּ֥ה עָפָֽה׃

DRB ² Et il me dit : Que vois-tu ? Et je dis : Je vois un rouleau qui vole, long de vingt coudées, et large de dix coudées.

KJV ² And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

WLC ² וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י מָ֥ה אַתָּ֖ה רֹאֶ֑ה וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲנִ֤י רֹאֶה֙ מְגִלָּ֣ה עָפָ֔ה אָרְכָּהּ֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וְרָחְבָּ֖הּ עֶ֥שֶׂר בָּאַמָּֽה׃

DRB ³ Et il me dit : C'est ici la malédiction* qui sort sur la face de toute la terre** ; car tout voleur sera détruit, selon ce [qui est écrit]***, d'une part ; et chacun qui jure sera détruit, selon ce [qui est écrit]***, de l'autre part.

KJV ³ Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

WLC ³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י זֹ֚את הָֽאָלָ֔ה הַיּוֹצֵ֖את עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י כָל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּ֣י כָל־ הַגֹּנֵ֗ב מִזֶּה֙ כָּמ֣וֹהָ נִקָּ֔ה וְכָל־ הַנִּ֨שְׁבָּ֔ע מִזֶּ֖ה כָּמ֥וֹהָ נִקָּֽה׃

DRB ⁴ Je la fais sortir, dit l'Éternel des armées, et elle entrera dans la maison du voleur, et dans la maison de celui qui jure faussement par mon nom ; et elle logera au milieu de sa maison et la consumera avec le bois et les pierres.

KJV ⁴ I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

WLC ⁴ הוֹצֵאתִ֗יהָ נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וּבָ֙אָה֙ אֶל־ בֵּ֣ית הַגַּנָּ֔ב וְאֶל־ בֵּ֛ית הַנִּשְׁבָּ֥ע בִּשְׁמִ֖י לַשָּׁ֑קֶר וְלָ֙נֶה֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ בֵּית֔וֹ וְכִלַּ֖תּוּ וְאֶת־ עֵצָ֥יו וְאֶת־ אֲבָנָֽיו׃

DRB ⁵ Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi sortit et me dit : Lève tes yeux et regarde : Qu'est-ce qui sort là ?

KJV ⁵ Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

WLC ⁵ וַיֵּצֵ֕א הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֣ר בִּ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י שָׂ֣א נָ֤א עֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ וּרְאֵ֔ה מָ֖ה הַיּוֹצֵ֥את הַזֹּֽאת׃

DRB ⁶ Et je dis : Qu'est-ce ? Et il dit : C'est l'épha qui sort. Et il dit : C'est ici leur aspect dans toute la terre.

KJV ⁶ And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

WLC ⁶ וָאֹמַ֖ר מַה־ הִ֑יא וַיֹּ֗אמֶר זֹ֤את הָֽאֵיפָה֙ הַיּוֹצֵ֔את וַיֹּ֕אמֶר זֹ֥את עֵינָ֖ם בְּכָל־ הָאָֽרֶץ׃

DRB ⁷ Et voici, un disque de plomb fut soulevé : et il y avait là une femme assise au milieu de l'épha.

KJV ⁷ And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

WLC ⁷ וְהִנֵּ֛ה כִּכַּ֥ר עֹפֶ֖רֶת נִשֵּׂ֑את וְזֹאת֙ אִשָּׁ֣ה אַחַ֔ת יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת בְּת֥וֹךְ הָאֵיפָֽה׃

DRB ⁸ Et il dit : C'est la méchanceté. Et il la jeta au milieu de l'épha, et il jeta le poids de plomb sur l'ouverture.

KJV ⁸ And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

WLC ⁸ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ זֹ֣את הָרִשְׁעָ֔ה וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ אֹתָ֖הּ אֶל־ תּ֣וֹךְ הָֽאֵיפָ֑ה וַיַּשְׁלֵ֛ךְ אֶת־ אֶ֥בֶן הָעֹפֶ֖רֶת אֶל־ פִּֽיהָ׃

DRB ⁹ Et je levai mes yeux, et je vis ; et voici, deux femmes sortirent, et le vent était dans leurs ailes, et elles avaient des ailes comme des ailes de cigogne, et elles soulevèrent l'épha entre la terre et les cieux.

KJV ⁹ Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

WLC ⁹ וָאֶשָּׂ֨א עֵינַ֜י וָאֵ֗רֶא וְהִנֵּה֩ שְׁתַּ֨יִם נָשִׁ֤ים יֽוֹצְאוֹת֙ וְר֣וּחַ בְּכַנְפֵיהֶ֔ם וְלָהֵ֥נָּה כְנָפַ֖יִם כְּכַנְפֵ֣י הַחֲסִידָ֑ה וַתִּשֶּׂ֙אנָה֙ אֶת־ הָ֣אֵיפָ֔ה בֵּ֥ין הָאָ֖רֶץ וּבֵ֥ין הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

DRB ¹⁰ Et je dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi : où celles-ci emportent-elles l'épha ?

KJV ¹⁰ Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

WLC ¹⁰ וָאֹמַ֕ר אֶל־ הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֣ר בִּ֑י אָ֛נָה הֵ֥מָּה מֽוֹלִכ֖וֹת אֶת־ הָאֵיפָֽה׃

DRB ¹¹ Et il me dit : Pour lui bâtir une maison dans le pays de Shinhar ; et là elle sera fixée et posée sur sa base.

KJV ¹¹ And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

WLC ¹¹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י לִבְנֽוֹת־ לָ֥הֿ בַ֖יִת בְּאֶ֣רֶץ שִׁנְעָ֑ר וְהוּכַ֛ן וְהֻנִּ֥יחָה שָּׁ֖ם עַל־ מְכֻנָתָֽהּ׃
