Mc 7 (King James)

¹ Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
² And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
³ For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
⁴ And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
⁵ Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
⁶ He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
⁷ Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
⁸ For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
⁹ And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
¹⁰ For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
¹¹ But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
¹² And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
¹³ Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
¹⁴ And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
¹⁵ There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
¹⁶ If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
¹⁷ And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
¹⁸ And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
¹⁹ Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
²⁰ And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
²² Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
²³ All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
²⁴ And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
²⁵ For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
²⁶ The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
²⁷ But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
²⁸ And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
²⁹ And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
³⁰ And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
³¹ And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
³² And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
³³ And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
³⁴ And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
³⁵ And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
³⁶ And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
³⁷ And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

Mc 7 (Martin)

Jésus-Christ condamne les Pharisiens d'hypocrisie en gardant leur tradition au lieu de la parole de Dieu. Il guérit aussi une fille possédée, et un sourd qui était muet.

¹ Alors les Pharisiens, et quelques Scribes qui étaient venus de Jérusalem, s'assemblèrent auprès de lui.
² Et ayant vu que quelques-uns de ses Disciples prenaient leur repas avec des mains souillées, c'est-à-dire, sans être lavées, ils les en blâmèrent.
³ (Car les Pharisiens et tous les Juifs ne mangent point qu'ils ne lavent souvent leurs mains, retenant les traditions des anciens.
⁴ Et étant de retour du marché, ils ne mangent point qu'ils ne se soient lavés. Il y a plusieurs autres observances dont ils se sont chargés, comme de laver les coupes, les pots, les vaisseaux d'airain, et les lits.)
⁵ Sur cela les Pharisiens et les Scribes l'interrogèrent, en disant : pourquoi tes Disciples ne se conduisent-ils pas selon la tradition des Anciens, mais prennent leur repas sans se laver les mains ?
⁶ Et il leur répondit, et leur dit : certainement Esaïe a bien prophétisé de vous, hypocrites, comme il est écrit : ce peuple m'honore des lèvres, mais leur coeur est bien éloigné de moi.
⁷ Mais ils m'honorent en vain, enseignant des doctrines [qui ne sont que] des commandements d'hommes.
⁸ Car en laissant le commandement de Dieu, vous retenez la tradition des hommes, [savoir] de laver les pots et les coupes, et vous faites beaucoup d'autres choses semblables.
⁹ Il leur dit aussi : vous annulez bien le commandement de Dieu, afin de garder votre tradition.
¹⁰ Car Moïse a dit : honore ton père et ta mère ; et, que celui qui maudira son père ou sa mère, meure de mort.
¹¹ Mais vous dites : si quelqu'un dit à son père ou à sa mère, le corban (c’est-à-dire le don) qui [sera fait] de par moi, viendra à ton profit, [il ne sera point coupable].
¹² Et vous ne lui permettez plus de rien faire pour son père ou pour sa mère.
¹³ Anéantissant ainsi la parole de Dieu par votre tradition que vous avez établie ; et vous faites [encore] plusieurs choses semblables.
¹⁴ Puis ayant appelé toutes les troupes, il leur dit : écoutez-moi vous tous, et entendez.
¹⁵ Il n'y a rien de ce qui est hors de l'homme, qui entrant au dedans de lui, puisse le souiller ; mais les choses qui sortent de lui, ce sont celles qui souillent l'homme.
¹⁶ Si quelqu'un a des oreilles pour ouïr, qu'il entende.
¹⁷ Puis quand il fut entré dans la maison, [s'étant retiré] d'avec les troupes, ses Disciples l'interrogèrent touchant cette similitude.
¹⁸ Et il leur dit : Et vous, êtes-vous donc aussi sans intelligence ? ne comprenez-vous pas que tout ce qui entre de dehors dans l'homme ne peut point le souiller ?
¹⁹ Parce qu'il n'entre pas dans son coeur, mais dans l'estomac d'où ensuite cela est jeté dans le lieu secret, en purifiant ainsi [le corps] de toutes les viandes.
²⁰ Mais il leur disait : ce qui sort de l'homme, c'est ce qui souille l'homme.
²¹ Car du dedans, [c'est-à-dire] du coeur des hommes, sortent les mauvaises pensées, les adultères, les fornications, les meurtres,
²² Les larcins, les mauvaises pratiques pour avoir le bien d'autrui, les méchancetés, la fraude, l'impudicité, le regard malin, les discours outrageux, la fierté, la folie.
²³ Tous ces maux sortent du dedans, et souillent l'homme.
²⁴ Puis partant de là, il s'en alla vers les frontières de Tyr et de Sidon ; et étant entré dans une maison, il ne voulait pas que personne le sût ; mais il ne put être caché.
²⁵ Car une femme qui avait une petite fille possédée d'un esprit immonde, ayant ouï parler de lui, vint et se jeta à ses pieds ;
²⁶ (Or cette femme était Grecque, Syro-Phénicienne de nation) et elle le pria qu'il chassât le démon hors de sa fille.
²⁷ Mais Jésus lui dit : laisse premièrement rassasier les enfants ; car il n'est pas raisonnable de prendre le pain des enfants, et de le jeter aux petits chiens.
²⁸ Et elle lui répondit, et dit : cela est vrai, Seigneur ! cependant les petits chiens mangent sous la table les miettes que les enfants laissent tomber .
²⁹ Alors il lui dit : à cause de cette parole va-t'en : le démon est sorti de ta fille.
³⁰ Quand elle s'en fut donc allée en sa maison, elle trouva que le démon était sorti, et que sa fille était couchée sur le lit.
³¹ Puis [Jésus] étant encore parti des frontières de Tyr et de Sidon, il vint à la mer de Galilée par le milieu du pays de Décapolis.
³² Et on lui amena un sourd qui avait la parole empêchée, et on le pria de poser les mains sur lui.
³³ Et [Jésus] l'ayant tiré à part, hors de la foule, lui mit les doigts dans les oreilles ; et ayant craché, lui toucha la langue.
³⁴ Puis regardant vers le ciel, il soupira, et lui dit : Ephphatha, c'est-à-dire, Ouvre-toi.
³⁵ Et aussitôt ses oreilles s'ouvrirent, et le lien de sa langue se délia, et il parla aisément.
³⁶ Et [Jésus] leur commanda de ne [le] dire à personne ; mais plus il le défendait, plus ils le publiaient.
³⁷ Et ils en étaient extrêmement étonnés, disant : il a tout bien fait ; il fait ouïr les sourds, et parler les muets.

¹ καὶ συνάγονται πρὸς αὐτὸν οἱ φαρισαῖοι καί τινες τῶν γραμματέων ἐλθόντες ἀπὸ ἱεροσολύμων
² καὶ ἰδόντες τινὰς τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ κοιναῖς χερσίν τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν ἀνίπτοις ἐσθίοντας ἄρτους ἐμέμψαντο
³ οἱ γὰρ φαρισαῖοι καὶ πάντες οἱ ἰουδαῖοι ἐὰν μὴ πυγμῇ νίψωνται τὰς χεῖρας οὐκ ἐσθίουσιν κρατοῦντες τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων
⁴ καὶ ἀπό ἀγορᾶς ἐὰν μὴ βαπτίσωνται οὐκ ἐσθίουσιν καὶ ἄλλα πολλά ἐστιν ἃ παρέλαβον κρατεῖν βαπτισμοὺς ποτηρίων καὶ ξεστῶν καὶ χαλκίων καὶ κλινῶν
⁵ ἔπειτα ἐπερωτῶσιν αὐτὸν οἱ φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς διὰτι οἱ μαθηταί σου οὐ περιπατοῦσιν κατὰ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων ἀλλὰ ἀνίπτοις χερσὶν ἐσθίουσιν τὸν ἄρτον
⁶ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὅτι καλῶς προεφήτευσεν ἠσαΐας περὶ ὑμῶν τῶν ὑποκριτῶν ὡς γέγραπται οὗτος ὁ λαὸς τοῖς χείλεσίν με τιμᾷ ἡ δὲ καρδία αὐτῶν πόῤῥω ἀπέχει ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ
⁷ μάτην δὲ σέβονταί με διδάσκοντες διδασκαλίας ἐντάλματα ἀνθρώπων
⁸ ἀφέντες γὰρ τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ θεοῦ κρατεῖτε τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν ἀνθρώπων βαπτισμοὺς ξεστῶν καὶ ποτηρίων καὶ ἀλλὰ παρόμοια τοιαῦτα πολλὰ ποιεῖτε
⁹ καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς καλῶς ἀθετεῖτε τὴν ἐντολὴν τοῦ θεοῦ ἵνα τὴν παράδοσιν ὑμῶν τηρήσητε
¹⁰ μωσῆς γὰρ εἶπεν τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα σου καί ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα ἢ μητέρα θανάτῳ τελευτάτω
¹¹ ὑμεῖς δὲ λέγετε ἐὰν εἴπῃ ἄνθρωπος τῷ πατρὶ ἢ τῇ μητρί κορβᾶν ὅ ἐστιν δῶρον ὃ ἐὰν ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς
¹² καὶ οὐκέτι ἀφίετε αὐτὸν οὐδὲν ποιῆσαι τῷ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ ἢ τῇ μητρί αὐτοῦ,
¹³ ἀκυροῦντες τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ τῇ παραδόσει ὑμῶν ᾗ παρεδώκατε καὶ παρόμοια τοιαῦτα πολλὰ ποιεῖτε

¹⁸ καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀσύνετοί ἐστε οὐ νοεῖτε ὅτι πᾶν τὸ ἔξωθεν εἰσπορευόμενον εἰς τὸν ἄνθρωπον οὐ δύναται αὐτὸν κοινῶσαι
¹⁹ ὅτι οὐκ εἰσπορεύεται αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν ἀλλ᾽ εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν καὶ εἰς τὸν ἀφεδρῶνα ἐκπορεύεται καθαρίζον πάντα τὰ βρώματα
²⁰ ἔλεγεν δὲ ὅτι τὸ ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκεῖνο κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον
²¹ ἔσωθεν γὰρ ἐκ τῆς καρδίας τῶν ἀνθρώπων οἱ διαλογισμοὶ οἱ κακοὶ ἐκπορεύονται μοιχεῖαι, πορνεῖαι φόνοι
²² κλοπαί πλεονεξίαι πονηρίαι δόλος ἀσέλγεια ὀφθαλμὸς πονηρός βλασφημία ὑπερηφανία ἀφροσύνη
²³ πάντα ταῦτα τὰ πονηρὰ ἔσωθεν ἐκπορεύεται καὶ κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον
²⁴ καὶ ἐκεῖθεν ἀναστὰς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὰ μεθόρια τύρου καὶ σιδῶνος καὶ εἰσελθὼν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν οὐδένα ἤθελεν γνῶναι καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθη λαθεῖν

²⁷ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῇ ἄφες πρῶτον χορτασθῆναι τὰ τέκνα οὐ γάρ καλὸν ἐστιν λαβεῖν τὸν ἄρτον τῶν τέκνων καὶ βαλεῖν τοῖς κυναρίοις
²⁸ ἡ δὲ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ναὶ, κύριε καὶ γὰρ τὰ κυνάρια ὑποκάτω τῆς τραπέζης ἐσθίει ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν παιδίων
²⁹ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ διὰ τοῦτον τὸν λόγον ὕπαγε ἐξελήλυθεν τὸ δαιμόνιον ἐκ τῆς θυγατρός σου
³⁰ καὶ ἀπελθοῦσα εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτῆς εὗρεν τὸ δαιμόνιον ἐξεληλυθός καὶ τὴν θυγατερα βεβλημένην ἐπὶ τὴς κλίνης
³¹ καὶ πάλιν ἐξελθὼν ἐκ τῶν ὁρίων τύρου καὶ σιδῶνος ἦλθεν πρὸς τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς γαλιλαίας ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὁρίων δεκαπόλεως
³² καὶ φέρουσιν αὐτῷ κωφὸν μογιλάλον καὶ παρακαλοῦσιν αὐτὸν ἵνα ἐπιθῇ αὐτῷ τὴν χεῖρα
³³ καὶ ἀπολαβόμενος αὐτὸν ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄχλου κατ᾽ ἰδίαν ἔβαλεν τοὺς δακτύλους αὐτοῦ εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτοῦ καὶ πτύσας ἥψατο τῆς γλώσσης αὐτοῦ
³⁴ καὶ ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν ἐστέναξεν καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ εφφαθα ὅ ἐστιν διανοίχθητι
³⁵ καὶ εὐθέως διηνοίχθησαν αὐτοῦ αἱ ἀκοαί καὶ ἐλύθη ὁ δεσμὸς τῆς γλώσσης αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐλάλει ὀρθῶς
³⁶ καὶ διεστείλατο αὐτοῖς ἵνα μηδενὶ εἴπωσιν ὅσον δὲ αὐτὸς αὐτοῖς διεστέλλετο μᾶλλον περισσότερον ἐκήρυσσον
³⁷ καὶ ὑπερπερισσῶς ἐξεπλήσσοντο λέγοντες καλῶς πάντα πεποίηκεν καὶ τοὺς κωφοὺς ποιεῖ ἀκούειν καὶ τοὺς ἀλάλους λαλεῖν
