S21 ² Que tes pieds sont beaux dans tes sandales, fille de prince!
Les contours de tes hanches sont comme des ornements,
œuvre des mains d'un artiste.

KJV ³ Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

S21 ³ Ton bassin est une coupe arrondie
où le vin parfumé ne manque pas.
Ton ventre est un tas de blé
entouré de lis.

KJV ⁴ Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

S21 ⁴ Tes deux seins sont comme deux faons,
comme les jumeaux d'une gazelle.

KJV ⁵ Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.

S21 ⁵ Ton cou est comme une tour d'ivoire.
Tes yeux sont comme les étangs de Hesbon,
près de la porte de Bath-Rabbim.
Ton nez est comme la tour du Liban
qui monte la garde face à Damas.

KJV ⁶ How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

S21 ⁶ Ta tête se dresse aussi fièrement que le Carmel
et les cheveux de ta tête sont comme la pourpre.
Un roi est prisonnier de boucles!

KJV ⁷ This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.

S21 ⁷ Que tu es belle, que tu es agréable,
mon amour, au milieu des délices!

KJV ⁸ I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

S21 ⁸ Ta taille ressemble au palmier,
et tes seins à des grappes.

KJV ⁹ And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

Que tes seins soient comme les grappes de la vigne,

S21 ⁵ Qui est celle qui monte du désert,
appuyée sur son bien-aimé?
Je t'ai réveillé sous le pommier.
C'est là que ta mère est tombée enceinte de toi,
c'est là qu'elle est tombée enceinte et t'a donné le jour.

KJV ⁶ Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

S21 ⁶ Fais de moi comme une empreinte sur ton cœur,

la passion est aussi inflexible que le séjour des morts.

ni les fleuves le submerger.
Même si un homme offrait tous les biens de sa maison contre l'amour,

KJV ⁸ We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?

S21 ⁸ Nous avons une petite sœur
qui n'a pas encore de poitrine.
Que ferons-nous de notre sœur,
le jour où on la réclamera?

KJV ⁹ If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.

nous construirons sur elle des créneaux en argent;
si elle est une porte,

A toi, Salomon, les 1000 pièces,

des compagnons prêtent attention à ta voix.

S21 ¹⁴ Prends la fuite, mon bien-aimé!
Montre-toi pareil à la gazelle ou au jeune cerf
sur les montagnes aux aromates!

S21 ¹⁴ Les mandragores diffusent leur parfum,
à nos portes se trouvent tous les meilleurs fruits,
nouveaux et anciens.
Mon bien-aimé, je les ai gardés pour toi.
