KJV ⁸ And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

S21 ⁸ J'ai entendu, mais sans comprendre, et j'ai dit: «Mon seigneur, quelle sera l'issue de tout cela?»

WLC ⁸ וַאֲנִ֥י שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי וְלֹ֣א אָבִ֑ין וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה אֲדֹנִ֕י מָ֥ה אַחֲרִ֖ית אֵֽלֶּה׃

KJV ⁹ And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

S21 ⁹ Il a répondu: «Vas-y, Daniel, car ces paroles seront tenues cachées et marquées du sceau du secret jusqu'au moment de la fin.

WLC ⁹ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לֵ֣ךְ דָּנִיֵּ֑אל כִּֽי־ סְתֻמִ֧ים וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים הַדְּבָרִ֖ים עַד־ עֵ֥ת קֵֽץ׃

KJV ¹⁰ Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

S21 ¹⁰ Beaucoup seront purifiés, épurés et affinés. Les méchants feront le mal et aucun d'eux ne comprendra, tandis que ceux qui seront perspicaces comprendront.

WLC ¹⁰ יִ֠תְבָּֽרֲרוּ וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ רַבִּ֔ים וְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּ רְשָׁעִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א יָבִ֖ינוּ כָּל־ רְשָׁעִ֑ים וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים יָבִֽינוּ׃

KJV ¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

S21 ¹¹ Depuis le moment où le sacrifice perpétuel sera supprimé et où l'abominable dévastation sera dressée, il y aura 1290 jours.

WLC ¹¹ וּמֵעֵת֙ הוּסַ֣ר הַתָּמִ֔יד וְלָתֵ֖ת שִׁקּ֣וּץ שֹׁמֵ֑ם יָמִ֕ים אֶ֖לֶף מָאתַ֥יִם וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃
