KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

VULC ¹ Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, et Aaron, dicens :

WLC ¹ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃

KJV ² When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

VULC ² Homo, in cujus cute et carne ortus fuerit diversus color, sive pustula, aut quasi lucens quippiam, id est, plaga lepræ, adducetur ad Aaron sacerdotem, vel ad unum quemlibet filiorum ejus.

WLC ² אָדָ֗ם כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֤ה בְעוֹר־ בְּשָׂרוֹ֙ שְׂאֵ֤ת אֽוֹ־ סַפַּ֙חַת֙ א֣וֹ בַהֶ֔רֶת וְהָיָ֥ה בְעוֹר־ בְּשָׂר֖וֹ לְנֶ֣גַע צָרָ֑עַת וְהוּבָא֙ אֶל־ אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן א֛וֹ אֶל־ אַחַ֥ד מִבָּנָ֖יו הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

KJV ³ And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

VULC ³ Qui cum viderit lepram in cute, et pilos in album mutatos colorem, ipsamque speciem lepræ humiliorem cute et carne reliqua : plaga lepræ est, et ad arbitrium ejus separabitur.

WLC ³ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֣ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֣גַע בְּעֽוֹר־ הַ֠בָּשָׂר וְשֵׂעָ֨ר בַּנֶּ֜גַע הָפַ֣ךְ ׀ לָבָ֗ן וּמַרְאֵ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ עָמֹק֙ מֵע֣וֹר בְּשָׂר֔וֹ נֶ֥גַע צָרַ֖עַת ה֑וּא וְרָאָ֥הוּ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְטִמֵּ֥א אֹתֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁴ If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

VULC ⁴ Sin autem lucens candor fuerit in cute, nec humilior carne reliqua, et pili coloris pristini, recludet eum sacerdos septem diebus :

WLC ⁴ וְאִם־ בַּהֶרֶת֩ לְבָנָ֨ה הִ֜וא בְּע֣וֹר בְּשָׂר֗וֹ וְעָמֹק֙ אֵין־ מַרְאֶ֣הָ מִן־ הָע֔וֹר וּשְׂעָרָ֖ה לֹא־ הָפַ֣ךְ לָבָ֑ן וְהִסְגִּ֧יר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֖גַע שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ⁵ And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

VULC ⁵ et considerabit die septimo : et siquidem lepra ultra non creverit, nec transierit in cute priores terminos, rursum recludet eum septem diebus aliis.

WLC ⁵ וְרָאָ֣הוּ הַכֹּהֵן֮ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי֒ וְהִנֵּ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ עָמַ֣ד בְּעֵינָ֔יו לֹֽא־ פָשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖גַע בָּע֑וֹר וְהִסְגִּיר֧וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים שֵׁנִֽית׃

KJV ⁶ And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

VULC ⁶ Et die septimo contemplabitur : si obscurior fuerit lepra, et non creverit in cute, mundabit eum, quia scabies est : lavabitque homo vestimenta sua, et mundus erit.

WLC ⁶ וְרָאָה֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן אֹת֜וֹ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי֮ שֵׁנִית֒ וְהִנֵּה֙ כֵּהָ֣ה הַנֶּ֔גַע וְלֹא־ פָשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖גַע בָּע֑וֹר וְטִהֲר֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ מִסְפַּ֣חַת הִ֔יא וְכִבֶּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ⁷ But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again.

VULC ⁷ Quod si postquam a sacerdote visus est, et redditus munditiæ, iterum lepra creverit : adducetur ad eum,

WLC ⁷ וְאִם־ פָּשֹׂ֨ה תִפְשֶׂ֤ה הַמִּסְפַּ֙חַת֙ בָּע֔וֹר אַחֲרֵ֧י הֵרָאֹת֛וֹ אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לְטָהֳרָת֑וֹ וְנִרְאָ֥ה שֵׁנִ֖ית אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ⁸ And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

VULC ⁸ et immunditiæ condemnabitur.

WLC ⁸ וְרָאָה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּשְׂתָ֥ה הַמִּסְפַּ֖חַת בָּע֑וֹר וְטִמְּא֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן צָרַ֥עַת הִֽוא׃

KJV ⁹ When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

VULC ⁹ Plaga lepræ si fuerit in homine, adducetur ad sacerdotem,

WLC ⁹ נֶ֣גַע צָרַ֔עַת כִּ֥י תִהְיֶ֖ה בְּאָדָ֑ם וְהוּבָ֖א אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ¹⁰ And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;

VULC ¹⁰ et videbit eum. Cumque color albus in cute fuerit, et capillorum mutaverit aspectum, ipsa quoque caro viva apparuerit :

WLC ¹⁰ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה שְׂאֵת־ לְבָנָה֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְהִ֕יא הָפְכָ֖ה שֵׂעָ֣ר לָבָ֑ן וּמִֽחְיַ֛ת בָּשָׂ֥ר חַ֖י בַּשְׂאֵֽת׃

KJV ¹¹ It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.

VULC ¹¹ lepra vetustissima judicabitur, atque inolita cuti. Contaminabit itaque eum sacerdos, et non recludet, quia perspicuæ immunditiæ est.

WLC ¹¹ צָרַ֨עַת נוֹשֶׁ֤נֶת הִוא֙ בְּע֣וֹר בְּשָׂר֔וֹ וְטִמְּא֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן לֹ֣א יַסְגִּרֶ֔נּוּ כִּ֥י טָמֵ֖א הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹² And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

VULC ¹² Sin autem effloruerit discurrens lepra in cute, et operuerit omnem cutem a capite usque ad pedes, quidquid sub aspectum oculorum cadit,

WLC ¹² וְאִם־ פָּר֨וֹחַ תִּפְרַ֤ח הַצָּרַ֙עַת֙ בָּע֔וֹר וְכִסְּתָ֣ה הַצָּרַ֗עַת אֵ֚ת כָּל־ ע֣וֹר הַנֶּ֔גַע מֵרֹאשׁ֖וֹ וְעַד־ רַגְלָ֑יו לְכָל־ מַרְאֵ֖ה עֵינֵ֥י הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ¹³ Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

VULC ¹³ considerabit eum sacerdos, et teneri lepra mundissima judicabit : eo quod omnis in candorem versa sit, et idcirco homo mundus erit.

WLC ¹³ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֨ה כִסְּתָ֤ה הַצָּרַ֙עַת֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ בְּשָׂר֔וֹ וְטִהַ֖ר אֶת־ הַנָּ֑גַע כֻּלּ֛וֹ הָפַ֥ךְ לָבָ֖ן טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹⁴ But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

VULC ¹⁴ Quando vero caro vivens in eo apparuerit,

WLC ¹⁴ וּבְי֨וֹם הֵרָא֥וֹת בּ֛וֹ בָּשָׂ֥ר חַ֖י יִטְמָֽא׃

KJV ¹⁵ And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

VULC ¹⁵ tunc sacerdotis judicio polluetur, et inter immundos reputabitur : caro enim viva, si lepra aspergitur, immunda est.

WLC ¹⁵ וְרָאָ֧ה הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֖י וְטִמְּא֑וֹ הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֛י טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא צָרַ֥עַת הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹⁶ Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

VULC ¹⁶ Quod si rursum versa fuerit in alborem, et totum hominem operuerit,

WLC ¹⁶ א֣וֹ כִ֥י יָשׁ֛וּב הַבָּשָׂ֥ר הַחַ֖י וְנֶהְפַּ֣ךְ לְלָבָ֑ן וּבָ֖א אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ¹⁷ And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

VULC ¹⁷ considerabit eum sacerdos, et mundum esse decernet.

WLC ¹⁷ וְרָאָ֙הוּ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ הַנֶּ֖גַע לְלָבָ֑ן וְטִהַ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֖גַע טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹⁸ The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

VULC ¹⁸ Caro autem et cutis in qua ulcus natum est, et sanatum,

WLC ¹⁸ וּבָשָׂ֕ר כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֥ה בֽוֹ־ בְעֹר֖וֹ שְׁחִ֑ין וְנִרְפָּֽא׃

KJV ¹⁹ And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;

VULC ¹⁹ et in loco ulceris cicatrix alba apparuerit, sive subrufa, adducetur homo ad sacerdotem.

WLC ¹⁹ וְהָיָ֞ה בִּמְק֤וֹם הַשְּׁחִין֙ שְׂאֵ֣ת לְבָנָ֔ה א֥וֹ בַהֶ֖רֶת לְבָנָ֣ה אֲדַמְדָּ֑מֶת וְנִרְאָ֖ה אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ²⁰ And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

VULC ²⁰ Qui cum viderit locum lepræ humiliorem carne reliqua, et pilos versos in candorem, contaminabit eum : plaga enim lepræ orta est in ulcere.

WLC ²⁰ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה מַרְאֶ֙הָ֙ שָׁפָ֣ל מִן־ הָע֔וֹר וּשְׂעָרָ֖הּ הָפַ֣ךְ לָבָ֑ן וְטִמְּא֧וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן נֶֽגַע־ צָרַ֥עַת הִ֖וא בַּשְּׁחִ֥ין פָּרָֽחָה׃

KJV ²¹ But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

VULC ²¹ Quod si pilus coloris est pristini, et cicatrix subobscura, et vicina carne non est humilior, recludet eum septem diebus :

WLC ²¹ וְאִ֣ם ׀ יִרְאֶ֣נָּה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵֽין־ בָּהּ֙ שֵׂעָ֣ר לָבָ֔ן וּשְׁפָלָ֥ה אֵינֶ֛נָּה מִן־ הָע֖וֹר וְהִ֣יא כֵהָ֑ה וְהִסְגִּיר֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ²² And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

VULC ²² et si quidem creverit, adjudicabit eum lepræ ;

WLC ²² וְאִם־ פָּשֹׂ֥ה תִפְשֶׂ֖ה בָּע֑וֹר וְטִמֵּ֧א הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֹת֖וֹ נֶ֥גַע הִֽוא׃

KJV ²³ But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

VULC ²³ sin autem steterit in loco suo, ulceris est cicatrix, et homo mundus erit.

WLC ²³ וְאִם־ תַּחְתֶּ֜יהָ תַּעֲמֹ֤ד הַבַּהֶ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א פָשָׂ֔תָה צָרֶ֥בֶת הַשְּׁחִ֖ין הִ֑וא וְטִהֲר֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ²⁴ Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

VULC ²⁴ Caro autem et cutis, quam ignis exusserit, et sanata albam sive rufam habuerit cicatricem,

WLC ²⁴ א֣וֹ בָשָׂ֔ר כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֥ה בְעֹר֖וֹ מִכְוַת־ אֵ֑שׁ וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה מִֽחְיַ֣ת הַמִּכְוָ֗ה בַּהֶ֛רֶת לְבָנָ֥ה אֲדַמְדֶּ֖מֶת א֥וֹ לְבָנָֽה׃

KJV ²⁵ Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

VULC ²⁵ considerabit eam sacerdos : et ecce versa est in alborem, et locus ejus reliqua cute est humilior, contaminabit eum, quia plaga lepræ in cicatrice orta est.

WLC ²⁵ וְרָאָ֣ה אֹתָ֣הּ הַכֹּהֵ֡ן וְהִנֵּ֣ה נֶהְפַּךְ֩ שֵׂעָ֨ר לָבָ֜ן בַּבַּהֶ֗רֶת וּמַרְאֶ֙הָ֙ עָמֹ֣ק מִן־ הָע֔וֹר צָרַ֣עַת הִ֔וא בַּמִּכְוָ֖ה פָּרָ֑חָה וְטִמֵּ֤א אֹתוֹ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן נֶ֥גַע צָרַ֖עַת הִֽוא׃

KJV ²⁶ But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

VULC ²⁶ Quod si pilorum color non fuerit immutatus, nec humilior plaga carne reliqua, et ipsa lepræ species fuerit subobscura, recludet eum septem diebus,

WLC ²⁶ וְאִ֣ם ׀ יִרְאֶ֣נָּה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵֽין־ בַּבֶּהֶ֙רֶת֙ שֵׂעָ֣ר לָבָ֔ן וּשְׁפָלָ֥ה אֵינֶ֛נָּה מִן־ הָע֖וֹר וְהִ֣וא כֵהָ֑ה וְהִסְגִּיר֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ²⁸ And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.

VULC ²⁸ Sin autem in loco suo candor steterit non satis clarus, plaga combustionis est, et idcirco mundabitur, quia cicatrix est combusturæ.

WLC ²⁸ וְאִם־ תַּחְתֶּיהָ֩ תַעֲמֹ֨ד הַבַּהֶ֜רֶת לֹא־ פָשְׂתָ֤ה בָעוֹר֙ וְהִ֣וא כֵהָ֔ה שְׂאֵ֥ת הַמִּכְוָ֖ה הִ֑וא וְטִֽהֲרוֹ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן כִּֽי־ צָרֶ֥בֶת הַמִּכְוָ֖ה הִֽוא׃

KJV ²⁹ If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;

VULC ²⁹ Vir, sive mulier, in cujus capite vel barba germinaverit lepra, videbit eos sacerdos.

WLC ²⁹ וְאִישׁ֙ א֣וֹ אִשָּׁ֔ה כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֥ה ב֖וֹ נָ֑גַע בְּרֹ֖אשׁ א֥וֹ בְזָקָֽן׃

KJV ³⁰ Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

VULC ³⁰ Et siquidem humilior fuerit locus carne reliqua, et capillus flavus, solitoque subtilior, contaminabit eos, quia lepra capitis ac barbæ est.

WLC ³⁰ וְרָאָ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֗גַע וְהִנֵּ֤ה מַרְאֵ֙הוּ֙ עָמֹ֣ק מִן־ הָע֔וֹר וּב֛וֹ שֵׂעָ֥ר צָהֹ֖ב דָּ֑ק וְטִמֵּ֨א אֹת֤וֹ הַכֹּהֵן֙ נֶ֣תֶק ה֔וּא צָרַ֧עַת הָרֹ֛אשׁ א֥וֹ הַזָּקָ֖ן הֽוּא׃

KJV ³¹ And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

VULC ³¹ Sin autem viderit locum maculæ æqualem vicinæ carni, et capillum nigrum : recludet eum septem diebus,

WLC ³¹ וְכִֽי־ יִרְאֶ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־ נֶ֣גַע הַנֶּ֗תֶק וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵין־ מַרְאֵ֙הוּ֙ עָמֹ֣ק מִן־ הָע֔וֹר וְשֵׂעָ֥ר שָׁחֹ֖ר אֵ֣ין בּ֑וֹ וְהִסְגִּ֧יר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ נֶ֥גַע הַנֶּ֖תֶק שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ³² And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;

VULC ³² et die septimo intuebitur. Si non creverit macula, et capillus sui coloris est, et locus plagæ carni reliquæ æqualis :

WLC ³² וְרָאָ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֣ן אֶת־ הַנֶּגַע֮ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי֒ וְהִנֵּה֙ לֹא־ פָשָׂ֣ה הַנֶּ֔תֶק וְלֹא־ הָ֥יָה ב֖וֹ שֵׂעָ֣ר צָהֹ֑ב וּמַרְאֵ֣ה הַנֶּ֔תֶק אֵ֥ין עָמֹ֖ק מִן־ הָעֽוֹר׃

KJV ³³ He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

VULC ³³ radetur homo absque loco maculæ, et includetur septem diebus aliis.

WLC ³³ וְהִ֨תְגַּלָּ֔ח וְאֶת־ הַנֶּ֖תֶק לֹ֣א יְגַלֵּ֑חַ וְהִסְגִּ֨יר הַכֹּהֵ֧ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֛תֶק שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים שֵׁנִֽית׃

KJV ³⁴ And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

VULC ³⁴ Si die septimo visa fuerit stetisse plaga in loco suo, nec humilior carne reliqua, mundabit eum : lotisque vestibus suis, mundus erit.

WLC ³⁴ וְרָאָה֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן אֶת־ הַנֶּ֜תֶק בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וְ֠הִנֵּה לֹא־ פָשָׂ֤ה הַנֶּ֙תֶק֙ בָּע֔וֹר וּמַרְאֵ֕הוּ אֵינֶ֥נּוּ עָמֹ֖ק מִן־ הָע֑וֹר וְטִהַ֤ר אֹתוֹ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְכִבֶּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ³⁵ But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;

VULC ³⁵ Sin autem post emundationem rursus creverit macula in cute,

WLC ³⁵ וְאִם־ פָּשֹׂ֥ה יִפְשֶׂ֛ה הַנֶּ֖תֶק בָּע֑וֹר אַחֲרֵ֖י טָהֳרָתֽוֹ׃

KJV ³⁶ Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

VULC ³⁶ non quæret amplius utrum capillus in flavum colorem sit immutatus, quia aperte immundus est.

WLC ³⁶ וְרָאָ֙הוּ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖תֶק בָּע֑וֹר לֹֽא־ יְבַקֵּ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן לַשֵּׂעָ֥ר הַצָּהֹ֖ב טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃

KJV ³⁷ But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

VULC ³⁷ Porro si steterit macula, et capilli nigri fuerint, noverit hominem sanatum esse, et confidenter eum pronuntiet mundum.

WLC ³⁷ וְאִם־ בְּעֵינָיו֩ עָמַ֨ד הַנֶּ֜תֶק וְשֵׂעָ֨ר שָׁחֹ֧ר צָֽמַח־ בּ֛וֹ נִרְפָּ֥א הַנֶּ֖תֶק טָה֣וֹר ה֑וּא וְטִהֲר֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ³⁸ If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

VULC ³⁸ Vir, sive mulier, in cujus cute candor apparuerit,

WLC ³⁸ וְאִישׁ֙ אֽוֹ־ אִשָּׁ֔ה כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֥ה בְעוֹר־ בְּשָׂרָ֖ם בֶּהָרֹ֑ת בֶּהָרֹ֖ת לְבָנֹֽת׃

KJV ³⁹ Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

VULC ³⁹ intuebitur eos sacerdos. Si deprehenderit subobscurum alborem lucere in cute, sciat non esse lepram, sed maculam coloris candidi, et hominem mundum.

WLC ³⁹ וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֧ה בְעוֹר־ בְּשָׂרָ֛ם בֶּהָרֹ֖ת כֵּה֣וֹת לְבָנֹ֑ת בֹּ֥הַק ה֛וּא פָּרַ֥ח בָּע֖וֹר טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁴⁰ And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

VULC ⁴⁰ Vir, de cujus capite capilli fluunt, calvus et mundus est :

WLC ⁴⁰ וְאִ֕ישׁ כִּ֥י יִמָּרֵ֖ט רֹאשׁ֑וֹ קֵרֵ֥חַ ה֖וּא טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁴¹ And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

VULC ⁴¹ et si a fronte ceciderint pili, recalvaster et mundus est.

WLC ⁴¹ וְאִם֙ מִפְּאַ֣ת פָּנָ֔יו יִמָּרֵ֖ט רֹאשׁ֑וֹ גִּבֵּ֥חַ ה֖וּא טָה֥וֹר הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁴² And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

VULC ⁴² Sin autem in calvitio sive in recalvatione albus vel rufus color fuerit exortus,

WLC ⁴² וְכִֽי־ יִהְיֶ֤ה בַקָּרַ֙חַת֙ א֣וֹ בַגַּבַּ֔חַת נֶ֖גַע לָבָ֣ן אֲדַמְדָּ֑ם צָרַ֤עַת פֹּרַ֙חַת֙ הִ֔וא בְּקָרַחְתּ֖וֹ א֥וֹ בְגַבַּחְתּֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁴³ Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

VULC ⁴³ et hoc sacerdos viderit, condemnabit eum haud dubie lepræ, quæ orta est in calvitio.

WLC ⁴³ וְרָאָ֨ה אֹת֜וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה שְׂאֵת־ הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ לְבָנָ֣ה אֲדַמְדֶּ֔מֶת בְּקָרַחְתּ֖וֹ א֣וֹ בְגַבַּחְתּ֑וֹ כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה צָרַ֖עַת ע֥וֹר בָּשָֽׂר׃

KJV ⁴⁴ He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

VULC ⁴⁴ Quicumque ergo maculatus fuerit lepra, et separatus est ad arbitrium sacerdotis,

WLC ⁴⁴ אִישׁ־ צָר֥וּעַ ה֖וּא טָמֵ֣א ה֑וּא טַמֵּ֧א יְטַמְּאֶ֛נּוּ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בְּרֹאשׁ֥וֹ נִגְעֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

VULC ⁴⁵ habebit vestimenta dissuta, caput nudum, os veste contectum, contaminatum ac sordidum se clamabit.

WLC ⁴⁵ וְהַצָּר֜וּעַ אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֣וֹ הַנֶּ֗גַע בְּגָדָ֞יו יִהְי֤וּ פְרֻמִים֙ וְרֹאשׁוֹ֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה פָר֔וּעַ וְעַל־ שָׂפָ֖ם יַעְטֶ֑ה וְטָמֵ֥א ׀ טָמֵ֖א יִקְרָֽא׃

KJV ⁴⁶ All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

VULC ⁴⁶ Omni tempore quo leprosus est et immundus, solus habitabit extra castra.

WLC ⁴⁶ כָּל־ יְמֵ֞י אֲשֶׁ֨ר הַנֶּ֥גַע בּ֛וֹ יִטְמָ֖א טָמֵ֣א ה֑וּא בָּדָ֣ד יֵשֵׁ֔ב מִח֥וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה מוֹשָׁבֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁴⁷ The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

VULC ⁴⁷ Vestis lanea sive linea, quæ lepram habuerit,

WLC ⁴⁷ וְהַבֶּ֕גֶד כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֥ה ב֖וֹ נֶ֣גַע צָרָ֑עַת בְּבֶ֣גֶד צֶ֔מֶר א֖וֹ בְּבֶ֥גֶד פִּשְׁתִּֽים׃

KJV ⁴⁸ Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

VULC ⁴⁸ in stamine atque subtegmine, aut certe pellis, vel quidquid ex pelle confectum est,

WLC ⁴⁸ א֤וֹ בִֽשְׁתִי֙ א֣וֹ בְעֵ֔רֶב לַפִּשְׁתִּ֖ים וְלַצָּ֑מֶר א֣וֹ בְע֔וֹר א֖וֹ בְּכָל־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֽוֹר׃

KJV ⁴⁹ And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:

VULC ⁴⁹ si alba vel rufa macula fuerit infecta, lepra reputabitur, ostendeturque sacerdoti :

WLC ⁴⁹ וְהָיָ֨ה הַנֶּ֜גַע יְרַקְרַ֣ק ׀ א֣וֹ אֲדַמְדָּ֗ם בַּבֶּגֶד֩ א֨וֹ בָע֜וֹר אֽוֹ־ בַשְּׁתִ֤י אוֹ־ בָעֵ֙רֶב֙ א֣וֹ בְכָל־ כְּלִי־ ע֔וֹר נֶ֥גַע צָרַ֖עַת ה֑וּא וְהָרְאָ֖ה אֶת־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ⁵⁰ And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

VULC ⁵⁰ qui consideratam recludet septem diebus :

WLC ⁵⁰ וְרָאָ֥ה הַכֹּהֵ֖ן אֶת־ הַנָּ֑גַע וְהִסְגִּ֥יר אֶת־ הַנֶּ֖גַע שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ⁵¹ And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

VULC ⁵¹ et die septimo rursus aspiciens, si deprehenderit crevisse, lepra perseverans est : pollutum judicabit vestimentum, et omne in quo fuerit inventa :

WLC ⁵¹ וְרָאָ֨ה אֶת־ הַנֶּ֜גַע בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י כִּֽי־ פָשָׂ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ בַּ֠בֶּגֶד אֽוֹ־ בַשְּׁתִ֤י אֽוֹ־ בָעֵ֙רֶב֙ א֣וֹ בָע֔וֹר לְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ יֵעָשֶׂ֥ה הָע֖וֹר לִמְלָאכָ֑ה צָרַ֧עַת מַמְאֶ֛רֶת הַנֶּ֖גַע טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁵² He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

VULC ⁵² et idcirco comburetur flammis.

WLC ⁵² וְשָׂרַ֨ף אֶת־ הַבֶּ֜גֶד א֥וֹ אֶֽת־ הַשְּׁתִ֣י ׀ א֣וֹ אֶת־ הָעֵ֗רֶב בַּצֶּ֙מֶר֙ א֣וֹ בַפִּשְׁתִּ֔ים א֚וֹ אֶת־ כָּל־ כְּלִ֣י הָע֔וֹר אֲשֶׁר־ יִהְיֶ֥ה ב֖וֹ הַנָּ֑גַע כִּֽי־ צָרַ֤עַת מַמְאֶ֙רֶת֙ הִ֔וא בָּאֵ֖שׁ תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃

KJV ⁵³ And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

VULC ⁵³ Quod si eam viderit non crevisse,

WLC ⁵³ וְאִם֮ יִרְאֶ֣ה הַכֹּהֵן֒ וְהִנֵּה֙ לֹא־ פָשָׂ֣ה הַנֶּ֔גַע בַּבֶּ֕גֶד א֥וֹ בַשְּׁתִ֖י א֣וֹ בָעֵ֑רֶב א֖וֹ בְּכָל־ כְּלִי־ עֽוֹר׃

KJV ⁵⁴ Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

VULC ⁵⁴ præcipiet, et lavabunt id in quo lepra est, recludetque illud septem diebus aliis.

WLC ⁵⁴ וְצִוָּה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְכִ֨בְּס֔וּ אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֖וֹ הַנָּ֑גַע וְהִסְגִּיר֥וֹ שִׁבְעַת־ יָמִ֖ים שֵׁנִֽית׃

KJV ⁵⁵ And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

VULC ⁵⁵ Et cum viderit faciem quidem pristinam non reversam, nec tamen crevisse lepram, immundum judicabit, et igne comburet, eo quod infusa sit in superficie vestimenti, vel per totum, lepra.

WLC ⁵⁵ וְרָאָ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אַחֲרֵ֣י ׀ הֻכַּבֵּ֣ס אֶת־ הַנֶּ֗גַע וְ֠הִנֵּה לֹֽא־ הָפַ֨ךְ הַנֶּ֤גַע אֶת־ עֵינוֹ֙ וְהַנֶּ֣גַע לֹֽא־ פָשָׂ֔ה טָמֵ֣א ה֔וּא בָּאֵ֖שׁ תִּשְׂרְפֶ֑נּוּ פְּחֶ֣תֶת הִ֔וא בְּקָרַחְתּ֖וֹ א֥וֹ בְגַבַּחְתּֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁵⁶ And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

VULC ⁵⁶ Sin autem obscurior fuerit locus lepræ, postquam vestis est lota, abrumpet eum, et a solido dividet.

WLC ⁵⁶ וְאִם֮ רָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵן֒ וְהִנֵּה֙ כֵּהָ֣ה הַנֶּ֔גַע אַחֲרֵ֖י הֻכַּבֵּ֣ס אֹת֑וֹ וְקָרַ֣ע אֹת֗וֹ מִן־ הַבֶּ֙גֶד֙ א֣וֹ מִן־ הָע֔וֹר א֥וֹ מִן־ הַשְּׁתִ֖י א֥וֹ מִן־ הָעֵֽרֶב׃

KJV ⁵⁷ And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

VULC ⁵⁷ Quod si ultra apparuerit in his locis, quæ prius immaculata erant, lepra volatilis et vaga, debet igne comburi.

WLC ⁵⁷ וְאִם־ תֵּרָאֶ֨ה ע֜וֹד בַּ֠בֶּגֶד אֽוֹ־ בַשְּׁתִ֤י אֽוֹ־ בָעֵ֙רֶב֙ א֣וֹ בְכָל־ כְּלִי־ ע֔וֹר פֹּרַ֖חַת הִ֑וא בָּאֵ֣שׁ תִּשְׂרְפֶ֔נּוּ אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֖וֹ הַנָּֽגַע׃

KJV ⁵⁸ And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

VULC ⁵⁸ Si cessaverit, lavabit aqua ea, quæ pura sunt, secundo, et munda erunt.

WLC ⁵⁸ וְהַבֶּ֡גֶד אֽוֹ־ הַשְּׁתִ֨י אוֹ־ הָעֵ֜רֶב אֽוֹ־ כָל־ כְּלִ֤י הָעוֹר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תְּכַבֵּ֔ס וְסָ֥ר מֵהֶ֖ם הַנָּ֑גַע וְכֻבַּ֥ס שֵׁנִ֖ית וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ⁵⁹ This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

VULC ⁵⁹ Ista est lex lepræ vestimenti lanei et linei, staminis, atque subtegminis, omnisque supellectilis pelliceæ, quomodo mundari debeat, vel contaminari.

WLC ⁵⁹ זֹ֠את תּוֹרַ֨ת נֶֽגַע־ צָרַ֜עַת בֶּ֥גֶד הַצֶּ֣מֶר ׀ א֣וֹ הַפִּשְׁתִּ֗ים א֤וֹ הַשְּׁתִי֙ א֣וֹ הָעֵ֔רֶב א֖וֹ כָּל־ כְּלִי־ ע֑וֹר לְטַהֲר֖וֹ א֥וֹ לְטַמְּאֽוֹ׃
