KJV 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

WLC 1 לְדָוִ֨ד ׀ בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה וְכָל־ קְ֝רָבַ֗י אֶת־ שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃

KJV 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

VULC 2 amictus lumine sicut vestimento.
Extendens cælum sicut pellem,

WLC 2 בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה וְאַל־ תִּ֝שְׁכְּחִ֗י כָּל־ גְּמוּלָֽיו׃

KJV 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

VULC 3 qui tegis aquis superiora ejus :
qui ponis nubem ascensum tuum ;
qui ambulas super pennas ventorum :

WLC 3 הַסֹּלֵ֥חַ לְכָל־ עֲוֺנֵ֑כִי הָ֝רֹפֵ֗א לְכָל־ תַּחֲלֻאָֽיְכִי׃

KJV 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

VULC 4 qui facis angelos tuos spiritus,
et ministros tuos ignem urentem.

WLC 4 הַגּוֹאֵ֣ל מִשַּׁ֣חַת חַיָּ֑יְכִי הַֽ֝מְעַטְּרֵ֗כִי חֶ֣סֶד וְרַחֲמִֽים׃

KJV 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

VULC 5 Qui fundasti terram super stabilitatem suam :
non inclinabitur in sæculum sæculi.

WLC 5 הַמַּשְׂבִּ֣יַע בַּטּ֣וֹב עֶדְיֵ֑ךְ תִּתְחַדֵּ֖שׁ כַּנֶּ֣שֶׁר נְעוּרָֽיְכִי׃

KJV 6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

VULC 6 Abyssus sicut vestimentum amictus ejus ;
super montes stabunt aquæ.

WLC 6 עֹשֵׂ֣ה צְדָק֣וֹת יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטִ֗ים לְכָל־ עֲשׁוּקִֽים׃

KJV 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

VULC 7 Ab increpatione tua fugient ;
a voce tonitrui tui formidabunt.

WLC 7 יוֹדִ֣יעַ דְּרָכָ֣יו לְמֹשֶׁ֑ה לִבְנֵ֥י יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל עֲלִילֽוֹתָיו׃

KJV 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

VULC 8 Ascendunt montes, et descendunt campi,
in locum quem fundasti eis.

WLC 8 רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֣וּן יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֖רֶךְ אַפַּ֣יִם וְרַב־ חָֽסֶד׃

KJV 9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

VULC 9 Terminum posuisti quem non transgredientur,
neque convertentur operire terram.

WLC 9 לֹֽא־ לָנֶ֥צַח יָרִ֑יב וְלֹ֖א לְעוֹלָ֣ם יִטּֽוֹר׃

KJV 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

VULC 10 Qui emittis fontes in convallibus ;
inter medium montium pertransibunt aquæ.

WLC 10 לֹ֣א כַ֭חֲטָאֵינוּ עָ֣שָׂה לָ֑נוּ וְלֹ֥א כַ֝עֲוֺנֹתֵ֗ינוּ גָּמַ֥ל עָלֵֽינוּ׃

KJV 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

VULC 11 Potabunt omnes bestiæ agri ;
expectabunt onagri in siti sua.

WLC 11 כִּ֤י כִגְבֹ֣הַּ שָׁ֭מַיִם עַל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ גָּבַ֥ר חַ֝סְדּ֗וֹ עַל־ יְרֵאָֽיו׃

KJV 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

VULC 12 Super ea volucres cæli habitabunt ;
de medio petrarum dabunt voces.

WLC 12 כִּרְחֹ֣ק מִ֭זְרָח מִֽמַּֽעֲרָ֑ב הִֽרְחִ֥יק מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ אֶת־ פְּשָׁעֵֽינוּ׃

KJV 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

VULC 13 Rigans montes de superioribus suis ;
de fructu operum tuorum satiabitur terra :

WLC 13 כְּרַחֵ֣ם אָ֭ב עַל־ בָּנִ֑ים רִחַ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל־ יְרֵאָֽיו׃

KJV 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

VULC 14 producens fœnum jumentis,
et herbam servituti hominum,
ut educas panem de terra,

WLC 14 כִּי־ ה֖וּא יָדַ֣ע יִצְרֵ֑נוּ זָ֝כ֗וּר כִּי־ עָפָ֥ר אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃

KJV 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

VULC 15 et vinum lætificet cor hominis :
ut exhilaret faciem in oleo,
et panis cor hominis confirmet.

WLC 15 אֱ֭נוֹשׁ כֶּחָצִ֣יר יָמָ֑יו כְּצִ֥יץ הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה כֵּ֣ן יָצִֽיץ׃

KJV 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

et cedri Libani quas plantavit :

WLC 16 כִּ֤י ר֣וּחַ עָֽבְרָה־ בּ֣וֹ וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ וְלֹא־ יַכִּירֶ֖נּוּ ע֣וֹד מְקוֹמֽוֹ׃

KJV 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

WLC 17 וְחֶ֤סֶד יְהוָ֨ה ׀ מֵעוֹלָ֣ם וְעַד־ ע֭וֹלָם עַל־ יְרֵאָ֑יו וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ לִבְנֵ֥י בָנִֽים׃

KJV 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

VULC 18 Montes excelsi cervis ;
petra refugium herinaciis.

WLC 18 לְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י בְרִית֑וֹ וּלְזֹכְרֵ֥י פִ֝קֻּדָ֗יו לַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃

KJV 19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

VULC 19 Fecit lunam in tempora ;
sol cognovit occasum suum.

WLC 19 יְֽהוָ֗ה בַּ֭שָּׁמַיִם הֵכִ֣ין כִּסְא֑וֹ וּ֝מַלְכוּת֗וֹ בַּכֹּ֥ל מָשָֽׁלָה׃

KJV 20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

VULC 20 Posuisti tenebras, et facta est nox ;
in ipsa pertransibunt omnes bestiæ silvæ :

WLC 20 בָּרֲכ֥וּ יְהוָ֗ה מַלְאָ֫כָ֥יו גִּבֹּ֣רֵי כֹ֭חַ עֹשֵׂ֣י דְבָר֑וֹ לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗עַ בְּק֣וֹל דְּבָרֽוֹ׃

KJV 21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

VULC 21 catuli leonum rugientes ut rapiant,
et quærant a Deo escam sibi.

WLC 21 בָּרֲכ֣וּ יְ֭הוָה כָּל־ צְבָאָ֑יו מְ֝שָׁרְתָ֗יו עֹשֵׂ֥י רְצוֹנֽוֹ׃

KJV 22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

VULC 22 Ortus est sol, et congregati sunt,
et in cubilibus suis collocabuntur.

WLC 22 בָּרֲכ֤וּ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ כָּֽל־ מַעֲשָׂ֗יו בְּכָל־ מְקֹמ֥וֹת מֶמְשַׁלְתּ֑וֹ בָּרֲכִ֥י נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃

VULC 23 Exibit homo ad opus suum,
et ad operationem suam usque ad vesperum.

VULC 24 Quam magnificata sunt opera tua, Domine !
omnia in sapientia fecisti ;
impleta est terra possessione tua.

VULC 25 Hoc mare magnum et spatiosum manibus ;
illic reptilia quorum non est numerus :
animalia pusilla cum magnis.

VULC 26 Illic naves pertransibunt ;
draco iste quem formasti ad illudendum ei.

VULC 27 Omnia a te expectant
ut des illis escam in tempore.

VULC 28 Dante te illis, colligent ;
aperiente te manum tuam, omnia implebuntur bonitate.

VULC 29 Avertente autem te faciem, turbabuntur ;
auferes spiritum eorum, et deficient,
et in pulverem suum revertentur.

VULC 30 Emittes spiritum tuum, et creabuntur,
et renovabis faciem terræ.

VULC 31 Sit gloria Domini in sæculum ;
lætabitur Dominus in operibus suis.

VULC 32 Qui respicit terram, et facit eam tremere ;
qui tangit montes, et fumigant.

VULC 33 Cantabo Domino in vita mea ;
psallam Deo meo quamdiu sum.

VULC 34 Jucundum sit ei eloquium meum ;
ego vero delectabor in Domino.

VULC 35 Deficiant peccatores a terra,
et iniqui, ita ut non sint.
